[Bug 416030] Re: New Wave's thumbnails are corrupted (in Appearance Preferences)
@ Dilmo - Could you take a look at this? I recently updated New Wave to 0.8.1 in gnome-themes-ubuntu 0.4 in Karmic. I just went back and diffed the files in your tarball and the ubuntu package, and they are indeed the same. Is this happening with local installs using your tarball as well? I'm on a Jaunty box right now, and I just backported the deb for myself. It's happening on Jaunty as well. So it seems like the problem must be in New Wave (or the package), not a bug in Karmic's gnome-appearance- properties. @ Ruslan - Thanks for the bug report! [Bug 411530] Re: netbook-launcher crashed with SIGSEGV in IA__g_cclosure_marshal_VOID__OBJECT()
The previous bug was fixed, this is another bug which is caused by the same issue as the previous one, just in another part of the code :) Apart from being unwell the past few days, I can assure you that I'm working on this and it'll be fixed way before release, hopefully today/over the weekend for an early-next-week release. We only recently upgraded to Clutter-1.0 and, even though we were tracking the 0.9.x series, there have been some changes which are causing these crashes. [Bug 392510] Re: Dual-boot install using mdadm root fails to boot
In your example above, if your /dev/sdc is not part of an array, kernel will not remove it. If it happens this is a bug. If /dev/sda and /dev/sdb are part of an array, they will be removed, and this is *not* a bug, why it should be..? This is what I do not understand. The way I read the patch and its description, if this array is not used for root, -Z will not be used on it, so they will not be removed. Yes I agree, this could be an interesting feature, but imho is not relevant with this issue. If this issue is this bug report and Christian's problem, I would say it is. Workaround (patch) that I added in the latest revision isn't elegant, but imho it fixed that issue. If it doesn't, please reopen this bug and write a testcase. I will leave to Christian to judge if this workaround fixes his issue. I am starting to wondering if you are talking about the issue in the linked Debian report, which might be somewhat different. I notice that you quoted one of my comments here in that report, and when I mentioned original bug report there it was of course about this Ubuntu report, but it might have been confusing.
