This affected me also on two computers (64-bit). When manually stopping the smbd service the installation continued and Samba is now working. have had to remove a corrupted file (known when running sudo dpkg --configure -a) only fulfilled (around 500 lines) by #paddling sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/updates/0086 this 0086 file was the latest created into this folder. [Bug 640472] [NEW] mysqld causes 2-3 wakeups per second on idle
Public bug reported: mysqld-akonadi consistently causes 2 to 3 wakeups per second on idle on my machine. This makes it the highest cause of wakeups coming from a user source for me. By comparison, virtuoso-t, used by nepomuk causes 0.5 wakeups per second. Where do you think the user-configurable ones should be then? My
imagination fails me.
I'm thinking more and more that the facts that
1. you can specify custom up-down scripts in the -net kvm command
line
2. /etc/qemu* are symlinks that can be safely changed into custom
files (which won't get updated)
should suffice, and we just need a good place to document those. The

This is a feature designed for maximum compatibility with other software. From squid developer discussions: hno: default port in accel mode is the listening port unless told otherwise by the host header or vport. If you run Squid on port 3128 but it's actually processing port 80 requests then you need to tell this to squid with vport=80. It's hard to automatically account for NATs or other reverse proxies infront remapping things in unexpected manners without config hints. this default port == listening port is needed to support accel mode on non-port80 in an clean manner. note that you also have this same issue for the same reasons if you run Squid (:80) - Apache (:8080) unless you tell Apache to override it's idea of the listening port. the short answer is: Do not remap ports in reverse proxy setups, doing so always bites back one way or another. Use IP addresses instead for request routing purposes. In response to the multiple backends problem: If the backends are themselves configurable to separate the domain/port they are listening on from the public domain/port this is a non issue. - Raise the minimum version of libvirt-bin needed to eucalyptus-nc.
* debian/eucalyptus-nc.postinst: Add eucalyptus user to the kvm group to
enable user to utilise console logs. (LP: #619843)
* debian/patches/18-priv_security.patch: Added vgscan to util/wrappers.conf,
as it requires escalated privileges. (LP: #628291)
* debian/patches/06-UEC-webinterface.patch (and 3 images): Updated and
refreshed to better reflect Ubuntu branding. (LP: #631451)
* debian/patches/25-uec-logo-png.patch: Due to a bug in dpkg, we need to use
a different filename for the logo.png.
* debian/eucalyptus-{java-,}common.{preinst,postinst}: Update the internal
database and keys on upgrade from 10.04.
