[Bug 633259] Re: Cannot start selection box below file list
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Natty Narwhal. It won't be fixed in previous versions of Ubuntu because the package doesn't fit the requirements for backporting. See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports for more information. ** Changed in: thunar (Ubuntu) Status: New = Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/633259 Title: Cannot start selection box below file list -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 696302] [NEW] Dropbox without nautilus
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pcmanfm Not all Ubuntu variants use nautilus, the official dropbox client relies purely on nautilus so LUbuntu, Fluxbuntu and such need to install nautilus to get this running. [Bug 696246] Re: Dependency on mysql not recognised
I have installed Redmine on Ubuntu twice in the past 24 hours and hit this problem on both occasions. (I know I am the common element here!) It should be possible to install Redmine and have it work without lots of configuration. The reason I used the Ubuntu installation is because I had had so much _fun_ meeting dependencies and configuring Redmine previously and needed it to just install for the next time a server dies. Part way through installation you are offered to be clever and configure it yourself, or to take the easy road. I think the easy road should just work or at least let you know how to make it work later if it failed. I am an IT professional with decades of experience and formal training so was able to fix the issues, diagnose what went wrong and report the bug. Redmine is fantastic (only hampered by the installation / configuration / programming language -;)) and it should be (relatively) easy for a wider audience to install and use it. Sorry, this sounds like a rant but was intended to get across the issue I see and _help_ solve it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/696246 Title: Dependency on mysql not recognised -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 694827] Re: [needs-packaging] VBoxGuestAdditions
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The Open Source Edition of VirtualBox is currently available in Ubuntu and the you can install the guest addition in your VM of Ubuntu 10.04 and up by installing the package: virtualbox-ose- guest-x11 (if you are using the desktop flavour of ubuntu). The guest additions are available for previous releases as well and newer versions are available via the backports (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports) for some releases of Ubuntu. I have tested the ose additions with the non-ose version of VirtualBox and they seem to function properly as well, however the proprietary version of VirtualBox are packaged and licensed by Oracle, so any support issues with those editions should probably be sent to them. [Bug 624188] Re: Cannot create a new folder with Chinese name
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test a current, supported, Ubuntu version. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect bug #, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue. ** Changed in: ibus-chewing (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/624188 Title: Cannot create a new folder with Chinese name -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
