Seems it is indeed a bug, users on the mailing list could verify it. .pc file is correct.

For the sake of completion, lib/libupsclient-config.in (a replacement when
pkg-config is not present) also need to be fixed.
I've just applied it upstream (in NUT, commit r2960) while waiting for a new
Debian upload (I may lag a bit more, considering my current workload...):

Getting similar issues with the 5650. From my post on the Ubuntu forums quoteatombios stuck executing CB9E I have a very strange issue. Whenever I logout of my Gnome session I am taken to a console where I see an error message that keeps repeating (see image here http://goo.gl/U2R0y ): The key thing is says is: atombios stuck executing CB9E. After about 30-45 seconds of watching the text, it goes back into GDM where I can log in normally. I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat 64bit My laptop is an Acer Aspire TimelineX 3820TG The Video Card (which I suspect the issue is coming from) is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650. Does anyone have a clue as to what the issue could be? The reason this patch was never accepted is not because of the incorrect status. And its no vague excuse. It could not be tested in karmic due to there not being a dm-raid-45 module there, this is the usual backporting process which stopped the whole system as originally we missed the initial 9.04 release window. One more thing. When the computer it's started WITHOUT acpi_osi=Linux there are no traces of cpufv file. Indeed, here's below the listing of directory. It starts to exist only if I load your modules. Something definitely has changed. I now got used to using iTerm2.app and , (or f, g) in less - but the old behaviour definitely was better. I use Ubuntu 10.10 on my ASUS G73J Laptop. I tried to play with the acroread printing properties but without any success regarding correct printing. Anyone who knows about this or simply can confirm it? On screen everything looks fine... Just one thought that may be useful. Maybe there always were two driver modules that claimed to handle that adapter (could be ndiswrapper or something else). Before the firmware update the realtek driver would not load because the firmware was missing. This allows the next driver to try.
