Toyed around with a bit and tracked it down pommed not being able to
find a suitable audio device in function audio_init in file audio.c:

Setting project to foomatic-filters, as the problem seems related to foomatic or something it calls. That might not be the right project; someone please change it if you know how to better target this bug to the people who can fix it. P.S.
