[Bug 1546978] Re: apparmor does not allow to run qemu-dm executable
Hi James, the kilo libvirt package (which I assume this is?) does indeed not have a rule for qemu-dm, which does exist in xen-utils-4.4 in trusty (and there is no xen-utils in kilo archive). Note this bug is not valid against the xenial libvirt package, as there is no qemu-dm binary in xen-utils-4.6 there. I also can't fix it in vivid since that is no longer valid. [Bug 1555751] Re: Some apps require a restart after switching to/from Wifi/Cellular to reconnect to the network
I can confirm it but also I can confirm it seems identical on OTA-9. This is useful to know because a month ago we landed a big network related landing consisting of fixes to bug #1470700 bug #1506015 bug #1507769 bug #1528886 etc. So at least it's not a regression. Looking with the https://bugs.launchpad.net/savilerow/+bug/1357321/comments/99 tool, it seems to continue working with HTTP GET when there's a configuration change (and the configuration change seems to happen correctly with a 0.5s of Network session error when switching). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1555751 Title: Some apps require a restart after switching to/from Wifi/Cellular to reconnect to the network To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1555751/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Since this was installed as 14.04, and libvirt-bin is not installed masked by default, I'll assume this was a remnant of a previous install? This shouldn't prevent the package install from succeeding though. Indeed if I mask libvirt-bin and then do a apt-get install --reinstall libvirt-bin, the install does succeed. [Bug 1531703] Re: virsh save doesn't work for vm with hdd image in non-default location, AppArmor-related error
Thanks for reporting this bug. I can't reproduce it here: 0 ✓ serge@sl ~ $ virsh start docker Domain docker started 0 ✓ serge@sl ~ $ virsh save docker /mnt/docker.dmp Domain docker saved to /mnt/docker.dmp Same happened on a 15.10 host. Can you append your full xml? [Bug 1539158] Re: Unable to pair with in-car hands-free system after OTA-9 update
Analyzed the latest log files and came to following conclusion about that is going on here: The key point here is that the car initiates the pairing with the phone which then leads to a timing problem in ubuntu-system-settings. [Bug 1551078] Re: CDROM installation fails for ubuntu 14.04.3 if another CDROM of ubuntu version is attached to same system
The information in the bug is clear. However, it is unlikely that this bug will be resolved for 16.04. This is a function of the ISO detection that has been in place in Ubuntu since its inception; the nature of the image build process means there is no 100% reliable way to determine which CD is the "right" one, so the heuristics used can fail in the manner you describe if more than one Ubuntu CD is present on the system at install time. I think the obvious workaround, which seems to have sufficed for everyone up to now, is to not leave multiple CDs in the system when installing. So I do not agree with the proposed "critical" severity. ** Changed in: debian-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: debian-installer (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1551078 Title: CDROM installation fails for ubuntu 14.04.3 if another CDROM of ubuntu version is attached to same system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-installer/+bug/1551078/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

So when we use G6200 as 1.1, the result is false, we also skip it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1436074 Title: tab previews black [arale only] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1436074/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1554371] Re: [Regression] Volume keys not working after suspend/resume
Unfortunately that's probably impossible, since over 800 packages were updated. It appears that the (official) mirror I was using hasn't seen an update since mid-February: http://mirror.csclub.uwaterloo.ca/ubuntu/dists/ However, I booted into the 20160310 daily ISO earlier to test another bug. I tried my volume buttons and they seemed to work fine, so I think my problem may be caused by a package installed on my system, or possibly some packages not being upgraded properly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1554371 Title: [Regression] Volume keys not working after suspend/resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1554371/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1547800] Re: gpu stuck on render ring
Robert Jordens, for now, why don't we try to see if the issue is resolved already, and we may circle back on pinning down a regression if necessary. With this in mind, in order to allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue, at your earliest convenience, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=N;O=D ? Please keep in mind the following: 1) The one to test is at the very top line at the top of the page (not the daily folder). 2) The release names are irrelevant. 3) The folder time stamps aren't indicative of when the kernel actually was released upstream. 4) Install instructions are available at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds . If testing on your main install would be inconvenient, one may: 1) Install Ubuntu to a different partition and then test this there. 2) Backup, or clone the primary install. If the latest kernel did not allow you to test to the issue (ex. you couldn't boot into the OS) please make a comment in your report about this, and continue to test the next most recent kernel version until you can test to the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this issue is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon, next to the word Tags, located at the bottom of the report description: kernel-fixed-upstream kernel-fixed-upstream-X.Y-rcZ Where X, and Y are the first two numbers of the kernel version, and Z is the release candidate number if it exists. If the mainline kernel does not fix the issue, please add the following tags: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists-upstream-X.Y-rcZ Please note, an error to install the kernel does not fit the criteria of kernel-bug-exists-upstream. Also, you don't need to apport-collect further unless specifically requested to do so. Once testing of the latest upstream kernel is complete, please mark this report Status Confirmed. Please let us know your results.
