Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.6 kernel[0]. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed". Thanks in advance. [Bug 1484269] Re: wrong symbols in brightness settings
Looks like this is an issue with the icons rather than the code. System settings is setting the icons in a sane way: minIcon: "image://theme/display-brightness-min" maxIcon: "image://theme/display-brightness-max" If you look at Suru's brightness min and max icons, they look good on a dark background (which is why they look OK in the indicator) but bad on a light background. [Bug 1541971] Re: Review button inactive without explanation
Relatedly, if you rate the app but do not write a review, the Send button is enabled and will let you submit it (which is not intended, see comment #3). The scope will refresh, but you won't see your review! Because (I assume) the review server rejected the textless review. This bug seems to appear because the click scope specifies "required" = "review" for preview data [1]. If it specified nothing, both review and rating would be required, AFAIK. So there is a further fix in the click scope to drop those lines I believe. I've added a task. [Bug 1584089] [NEW] Segfault of __thread varaible in Linux/ARM due to bug of LLVM ARM code generation
Public bug reported: There are four thread local storage (TLS) models in Clang/LLVM as following: 1) global-dynamic TLS model 2) local-dynamic TLS model 3) local-exec TLS model 4) initial-execTLS model and emulated-TLS (for Android S/W platform)?? Even though, We can build run normally with the static relocation method by selecting the initial-exec TLS model instead of global-dynamic TLS model (by default) , We need to run the clang application code with global-dynamic (or local-dynamic) TLS model in order that we support some applications is working with dlopen(3) library call. Confirmed. I guess this is because the slider is using Unicode symbols rather than real icons. In the battery menu, the symbols make sense because the text is white, so the solid sun is white. [Bug 1584051] Re: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 22s! [kswapd0:33]
Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem? Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.6 kernel[0]. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed". Thanks in advance. [Bug 1378784] Re: TextField ignores verticalAligment setting
For the record, what I just clarified in an IRC discussion with Rae: - Right now verticalAlignment doesn't affect anything. - There's no known real life user. - No designs make use of custom alignments - it's not desired. So we just need to decide: 1) To deprecate it officially. 2) To leave the bug open indefinitely - I don't see a trivial fix and if nobody's using it spending a lot of time on that seems questionable. ** Changed in: ubuntu-ui-toolkit (Ubuntu) Importance: High => Low ** Changed in: ubuntu-ui-toolkit (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Opinion ** Changed in: ubuntu-ui-toolkit (Ubuntu) Assignee: Christian Dywan (kalikiana) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1378784 Title: TextField ignores verticalAligment setting To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ux/+bug/1378784/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
