[Bug 1702407] Re: Startup crash after upgrading to 59.0.3071.109 on xenial
@Lonnie: as soon as technically possible (this might be early next week). Have you tested the packages in the PPA? Could you confirm whether they solve the issue for you? The more confirmations we get from individual testers, the more confidence we can have in the validity of the patch, which means it will be delivered as an update sooner. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1702407 Title: Startup crash after upgrading to 59.0.3071.109 on xenial To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1702407/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 1698772] Re: package clamav-base 0.99.2+dfsg-6 failed to install/upgrade: package is in a very bad inconsistent state; you should reinstall it before attempting a removal
Hi Andreas, I realised I was incomplete in my answer yesterday. The installations that stall are those initiated via the software manager, not via apt-get. Additional information After restarting, the software manager says it (ClamAv) is installed but I cannot configure it because it's not fully installed. So we are back to square one except that updates seem to install completely. (I'm waiting for new ones to be available before being able to confirm this.) Have a nice day, With best regards Bernard On 06/07/17 18:31, Andreas Hasenack wrote: > Just ps fauxww and the current error, because I'm lost again, apologies. > > When you say the installation stalls, you mean an installation that you > started manually via apt-get? > -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1698772 Title: package clamav-base 0.99.2+dfsg-6 failed to install/upgrade: package is in a very bad inconsistent state; you should reinstall it before attempting a removal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clamav/+bug/1698772/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1702823] [NEW] Systemd fails to serialize tasks correctly on daemon-reload
Public bug reported: Hi, I was initially tracking down a libvirt bug [1], but happened to realize it is actually a general systemd issue. >From there I got to file, discuss and test [2]. For now I file the bug to be ablte to do my tests correctly, but if it really fixes the issue I'd like to suggest to fix it in the release - so better file upfront and do even my test patches right. [Bug 1677552] Re: CPU hot unplug fails after migrating a CPU hotplugged guest from source
Daniel, thanks for bringing those upstream. I haven't had any problems since I'll tackle them along with the qemu merge for Artful. Aligning those with other tasks and PTO means it will take a bit longer to get to them. OTOH adding the patches to current qemu just to throw them away a few weeks later when merging the newer version would be kind of pointless. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1677552 Title: CPU hot unplug fails after migrating a CPU hotplugged guest from source To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1677552/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1701731] Re: phpLDAPadmin <= 1.2.3 'entry_chooser.php' Multiple Cross-Site Scripting
Hello Ismail, thanks for taking on this task. There's a few small things that I'd like changed before we sponsor this: - Since Ubuntu doesn't really have package 'maintainers', there's no need to point out it's a non-maintainer upload - We like the security updates to all have consistent formatting as described on: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SecurityTeam/UpdatePreparation#Update_the_packaging - We like the patches to have DEP-3 tags to indicate at least where the patch came from, so future readers can verify patches independently. (While DEP-3 is kind of complicated and involved, it's basically just adding Subject: with something short and descriptive and Origin: with a link to the patch.) The full DEP-3 guide is at http://dep.debian.net/deps/dep3/ but don't feel compelled to read it unless I did a poor job describing it here. Could you submit a new patch with these items fixed up? [Bug 1702792] Re: Installation on ppc64le stuck when trying to setup LVM
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode. To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1702792/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package. [Bug 1702785] [NEW] High memory and "can't fork" on heavy long-lived cron daemon
Public bug reported: Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS, cron 3.0pl1-124ubuntu2 On a server with heavy cron use (a few thousand entries across cron.d / users, several runs per second, a few dozen forks running at any given time), cron will creep up in memory usage. Last I saw was 6GB RSS, at which point it will start doing: Jul 6 07:01:27 host cron[21699]: (CRON) error (can't fork) Not all runs will fail, but this trend will continue until cron is restarted. ** Affects: cron (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1702785 Title: High memory and "can't fork" on heavy long-lived cron daemon To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cron/+bug/1702785/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
