Patch a0e2251132995b9 is a kernel patch, thus this is certainly not
something we need to track in the upstream QEMU bugtracker.

have reason to respin, I guess), but such is life.

[Bug 1275042] Re: Wrong colors with Mesa 11.1.2-1 on ubuntu MATE 16.04 PowerPC

** Description changed:

- Hi all,
+ Upstream report:

I've tried Mesa 9.2.2-1 and 10.0.1 on Debian Sid, Lubuntu 13.10, and on
Lubuntu 14.04. Unfortunately all have issued false colors in games. They
appear to be ABGR instead of RGBA, thus blue becomes green, red becomes
  alpha etc.

This issue affects sdl2 applications either.

The Mesa version 11.1.2-1 doesn't work either on ubuntu MATE 16.04
  PowerPC.

Mesa 8.0.5-4 and Mesa 9.1.6 have no color problem.

The transitional solution is to install the old Mesa 8.0.X with "Force
Version" with the Synaptic package manager on new distributions.

In my point of view, the problem is in the source file p_format.h in the
directory src/gallium/include/pipe/. There is some code for translating
colors for big-endian machines. The problem is, this code is only for
the CPU. I mean for LLVMpipe for the CPU. The Radeon graphics cards
don't need this translating code but IBM pSeries machines without
graphics cards need this code. This code translates the colors in a
wrong way for Radeon graphics cards. I removed this code and after
compiling Mesa again, the colors are displayed correctly. I released
some unofficial Mesa versions with this patch.

[Bug 1275042] [NEW] Wrong colors with Mesa 11.1.2-1 on ubuntu MATE 16.04 PowerPC

2019-09-23 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Hi all,

[Bug 1507247] Re: avahi-daemon dies after about a minute

2019-09-23 Thread Greg Zdanowski
I actually have a fix for this. The reason why the daemon is dying is
because dbus is disabled in avahi and the configuration expects DBUS to
be enabled for status checking. Make sure you have "enable-dbus=yes" in
avahi-daemon.conf :)

After updating to Radeon 7.9.0 in Ubuntu 16.04.3, I noticed that all
GTK3 tooltips are corrupted. See the attached screencast. Other tooltips

[Bug 1842889] Re: 磁盘大小计算错误

2019-09-23 Thread Yue Lan
I have confirmed this bug.

I have no idea how to fix this problem. Peony just uses glib/gio get the
disk's szie-info, so I'm not sure if it is a lower-level's bug. If it
is, maybe it should be report to glib/gio's maintainer. At least I
couldn't fix this problem now.

This problem is not so serious. I will try tracing this bug and fixing
it when I was convinient.

[Bug 1828958] Re: 使用列表模式打开文件夹,如果这个文件夹里面有非常多的文件(占满一屏),无法用右键创建目录了。

2019-09-23 Thread Yue Lan
I've confirmed this bug.

There are some Defective Design in peony's directory view and directory
view's menu. The 'blank menu' in tree view is ill-considered. However
this is might not a real bug but a wishlist about new featrue.

To be honest, the current design about tree view and directory view's
menu makes it hard to fix this problem. Even though i fixed this 'bug',
there would be some other potential problems that I can predict. It
might have a bad effect for the raw design and let the problem become
more complex.

So, I prefer to keep the current situation.

[Bug 1844665] Re: [disco] New upstream microrelease flatpak 1.2.5

2019-09-23 Thread Andrew Hayzen
** Description changed:

- Placeholder for updating disco to flatpak 1.2.5.
+ This is a request to SRU the latest microrelease of the flatpak 1.2
+ series into disco.
+
+ [Impact]
+
+ New upstream microrelease of flatpak, which brings backported fixes and
+ improvements - the main being allowing use of extra_data in runtimes
+ (which is required by the openh264 extension).
+
+ Disco is currently at 1.2.4, whereas 1.2.5 is available upstream.
+
+ [Test Case]
+
+ The main fix in this release is allowing for use of extra_data in
+ runtimes, I have tested this works with a test repository, see the test
+ plan below for testing flatpak itself.
+
+ [Regression Potential]
+
+ Flatpak has a test suite, which is run on build across all architectures
+ and passes.
+
+ There is also a manual test plan
+ https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Process/Merges/TestPlan/flatpak. I have
+ confirmed that 1.2.5 passes with this test plan on disco.
+
+ Flatpak has autopkgtests enabled
+ http://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/f/flatpak which is passing on
+ disco.
+
+ Regression potential is low, and upstream is very responsive to any
+ issues raised.

[Bug 1845102] [NEW] Video tearing in Celluloid with new Yaru theme

2019-09-23 Thread KC
Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu Eoan Ermine (development branch)
Release:19.10

My specs:
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Caicos PRO [Radeon HD 7450]
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9400 @ 2.66GHz

Latest version of Celluloid (0.17) obtained by PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~xuzhen666/+archive/ubuntu/gnome-mpv

When I use the new Ubuntu 19.10 dev theme (all gray Yaru), video playback
starts to tear in Celluloid (I wasn't able to capture it with
SimpleScreenRecorder, sorry, the tearing does not appear in the capture).
Really similar tearing occurs with Adwaita as the enabled theme.
It however does NOT occur at all with the older Yaru theme (which I copied
from my Ubuntu 19.04 install).

There is no tearing with any of the themes enabled in Wayland.
Tearing is scant and impossible to appreciate in VLC.
These issues occur only in X, and in Celluloid.

The reason I'm reporting this to you is because it coincides with the
theme change.

** Affects: yaru-theme (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 1832144] Re: Ubuntu 19.04 suspend freeze on Dell inspiron 7373

2019-09-23 Thread Carlos Cesar Caballero Diaz
Ok, I have found a new clue, I have disabled the suspension in the
energy configuration, but when the screen goes off the system equally
freeze, so, or the system is ignoring the config options and is still
suspending (I don't think so but is a possibility), or the crash is not
specific of the suspend process and is more related with the screen off
process or video driver.

[Bug 1839129] Re: fix it or remove it

2019-09-23 Thread Unit 193
Howdy,

As noted in LP #1822672 this was broken in 1.66ubuntu1 with a somewhat
undocumented change to the submission URL was changed from http to
https, which the codebase doesn't handle (Just gpg encryption and using
Tor)

All that needs done is to reset SUBMITURLS="http://popcon.ubuntu.com
/popcon-submit.cgi" and everything will start working again. I've
pinged Simon a few times about this, but so far Eoan is still affected.

As discovered when testing the latest release of Ubuntu with (mainline)
trees, commit 13a86519202c5d119d83640d6f781f3181205d2c seems to
introduce a regression when booting with a screen attached to
displayport (the system otherwise boots fine with the same kernel using
an HDMI output).

An original bug was filed with the Ubuntu bug tracker and contains
information about bissection:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1723619

A (set of) dmesg outputs can be found here:
https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/25767385/

4.14-rc5 still exhibits this behavior on the tested system.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me should you need more
information - one affected system happens to be my main workstation.

This appears to be a GM204.

Note that 13a8651920 fixed a regression for most people precisely of the
type that it caused for you, i.e. DDC failing.

So it sounds like the address-only transactions were actually working
well for you before (which basically is impossible since *size - 1 would
have been 0x and have overwritten the whole ctrl), and these
have now been broken.

This leads me to believe that a different bit is now the address-only
transaction bit. In gm200_i2c_aux_xfer, we assume it's 0x100 (same as
for GF119+). Ben, did you trace it on GM200+ separately?

I ran into the same issue on a Lenovo T420 with 01:00.0 VGA compatible

As soon as I plug an external monitor via DP, Nouveau oopses at
nvkm_dp_train_drive(). If I try to boot with the monitor plugged in the
system doesn't boot at all. I attached the relevant log at the end.

The external monitor works perfectly on 4.12.9-300.fc26.x86_64 and
breaks on 4.13.1-301.fc27.x86_64, the commit mentioned in this issue was
introduced between these two version.
