[Bug 1815110] [NEW] CMake configuration files are missing
Public bug reported: The CMake configuration files are only generated if CMake is used when building this package instead of autotools (see [1]). I think it would be really nice if the ubunu package would include the cmake configure files in /lib/cmake/glog/ either by maually adding them or by switching the package build to CMake. [Bug 825299] Re: Applications launched at startup lose their position in the launcher
I installed Nixnote on Ubuntu 12.04, locked the icon to my launcher, and set a custom icon via /usr/share/applications/nixnote.desktop. When I copy nixnote.desktop to ~/.config/autostart/, Nixnote shows up in my startup applications list with the proper icon. When I log off then log back on, Nixnote launches automatically (as it should). However, it doesn't use the Nixnote icon that is already locked to the launcher - it uses a grainy icon that I am not able to successfully lock to my launcher (if I lock it, it disappears when I close Nixnote). [Bug 400928] [NEW] jaunty: Suspend not working due to bug in 01PulseAudio script
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager Suspend only works for usernames shorter than 9 characters: sleep.d/01PulseAudio tries to get a list of users for whom to suspend pulse by calling: get_pulse_users() { echo $(ps aux | awk '/\/usr\/bin\/pulseaudio --start/ {print $1}') } However, ps aux will retunr the UID instead of username for usernames longer than 8 characters. This leads to an error when the script tries to sudo to each respective user later on: for i in $(get_pulse_users); doit sudo -H -u $i pactl suspend-sink 1 /dev/null sudo -H -u $i pactl suspend-source 1 /dev/null done The bug is triggered when any user tries to suspend the system, you can tell if you're affected by thi bug by searching the logfile /var/log/pm-suspend.log for the line: /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/01PulseAudio suspend suspend: Returned exit code 1. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: audio management power pulse suspend ** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager - Suspend only works for usernames shortern than 9 characters: + Suspend only works for usernames shorter than 9 characters: sleep.d/01PulseAudio tries to get a list of users for whom to suspend pulse by calling: get_pulse_users() { echo $(ps aux | awk '/\/usr\/bin\/pulseaudio --start/ {print $1}') } However, ps aux will retunr the UID instead of username for usernames longer than 8 characters. [Bug 314777] Re: Error:file is encrypted or is not a database
New version of gnome-rdp uses sqlite 3.x, but database file .gnome-rdp.db (in user's home) has version 2.x. You can move file .gnome-rdp.db to .gnome-rdp-2.db and gnome-rdp will work, but you need to create sessions again. Can someone tell how can I export data from sqlite database 2.x and import it to 3.x? -- Error:file is encrypted or is not a database https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/314777 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
