[Bug 975222] Re: ath3k bluetooth adapter cannot load firmware
I have had the issue since I bought the BT adapter, on Ubuntu 11.10. The linux-firmware package 1.75 (pushed as a result of this bug posting: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/714862). I am not aware of a kernel version not having this problem (on my primary laptop). [Bug 630748] Re: iwlagn degrades quickly during normal wifi session
Just wanted to add that intel will not be fixing this issue for legacy devices, including the 4965agn: In reference to the splitting of the iwlagn driver with a legacy branch, will the 4965agn get a similar fix. These network cards have similar issues, including the Received BA when not expected errors. It will be very difficult to add the same firmware fix for legacy devices including 4965.
