[Bug 180415] Re: df display 1K-blocks for 4K too

2008-06-21 Thread Mahesh Aravind
I was about to file a bug report when I saw this.

I believe it should take the blocksize from dumpe2fs(8) or something,
and go ahead and set the BLOCKSIZE env var.

Try:
$ BLOCKSIZE=4096 df

It gives correct values (apparently)

However it doesn't seem to affect 'df -h'/'du -h' -- funny!

Bundlers should apparently decide on setting BLOCK_SIZE or BLOCKSIZE
(recommended) by default on install. Maybe on /etc/profile or
something.

Swathanthra malayalam computing, The malayalam L10n group chooses
Rachana_04.ttf as a the Default Malyalam font. It is the font currently
used by the debian installer.

Also merging with ttf-indic-fonts in debian will solve the major
existing bugs in Malayalam rendering

Malayalam.ttf & malOTF are fonts with same glyphset. The difference
between them is MalOTF contains gsub tables. malayalam.ttf doesnot have
gsub tables. But Fonts without GSUB table is almost unusable now

ps. Malayalam.ttf is the first free opentype font in malayalam

I contacted the Author of Rachana Font. He said that he will realease a
font shortly by removing the non-free glyphs. And he said that those are
not arial Glyphs. He took some sans glyphs ( he is not remebering about
the name or license of the font) and Modified glyphs.

We will release a new version without using English Glyphs.
