And also when left idle for long hours it freezes or crashes and what i will do

And also when I open Terminal and run sudo apt update

And then if I run sudo apt upgrade and minimize the window and open firefox
suddenly Xorg freezes for few seconds
Sometimes when I uninstall a program that is

[Bug 1915135] [NEW] Gnome shell launcher is popping many pages dots after exiting app folder collections, Ubuntu 20.04

2021-02-09 Thread Balashanmugam
Public bug reported:

When I click the "Show Applications" button in the lower left, it brings up a
matrix of application icons, which takes a page and a half. There should be two
dots on the right to match the two pages.
But instead there are * dots. Moving up and down, the first and second dots
highlight to show which page I am on. But only the top dot, and the bottom two,
can be clicked on to change the page.
This happens to me when I about to remove an app from a folder. After removing
an app from a folder
, it just shows blank for 1 second and then it shows many dots it right panel.
The amount of pages I have the amount of dots it should be. But it show many
dots after exiting the folder to navigate up and down we have to click the top
most dot for moving up for down we have to click the last dot or the bottom
most dot. After restarting only this issue is solved. I don't know if this
caused by appfolder-management. It might cause this or gnome-shell 3.36.4 .
Anyway if this bug resolved I am having whenever I am creating a new folder on
the show applications panel.

[Bug 1915030] [NEW] ubuntu-desktop is slow and resolution in booting is incorrect

2021-02-08 Thread Balashanmugam
Public bug reported:

ubuntu-desktop is slow at starting and also when I click show applications
(That 9 dots on the Dock) it shows slowly and also animating incorrectly. It is
so slow that barely I can select activites and click show applications. And
also ubuntu-desktop is taking up system resources highly. sometimes when I open
and close show applications it opens and before closing it shows wallpaper for
few seconds and then closes. I am a windows user and curious to know linux
works.
Windows 8.1 is way faster than ubuntu booting on a virtual machine with just 2
gig of memory. Both are same specs 2 gigs of ram and 1 core and 2 processors. I
don't know what causes this bug.
