I believe this bug is related to bug 1235543. I have identified the issue with the other bug and I am sure it will fix this one as well. For some back story, some Unity configurations has been removed from gsettings and moved into nux[1]. This created some missing schema that crashes unity-tweak-tool. I have since went ahead and removed those configurations, which I believe will not crash our tool. They can't be configured anymore, so removing them is the only way going forward. Public bug reported: Currently, the privacy settings are not secured properly and allows driveby users to get a glimpse of the user's privacy settings. To make my point, if someone manages to view the list of folders that a user doesn't want Zeitgeist to log, he would be able to find the exact folders that the user does not want others to get an easy access. Hence, I suggest the privacy settings are locked by default similar to how the User Accounts work and the settings are only accessible if the user inputs the password. This would provide added security to the user's privacy settings.
