[Bug 96430] Re: MASTER: Request for new-legacy nvidia drivers (9631)
My graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti 4200 with AGP8x I solved the problem the same way as Lambros Lambrou did: Install nvidia-glx-legacy and add >>Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "true"<< to the device-section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf. -- MASTER: Request for new-legacy nvidia drivers (9631) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/96430 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 53805] Gnome-menu flickers
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel Ubuntu Edgy Eft, gnome-panel 2.14.2-1ubuntu1 After installing Edgy Eft Knot 1 and removing the Windows-like arrows that shorten the menu of Gnome, the menu flickers each time I try to open it. I see no way to change that. The menu is unusable, because you can not click on an entry or even open a submenu. I use the panel in the way the menu is split into 3 parts: 'applications', 'places' and 'system'. 'Places' and 'System' are not infected, though I've also disabled the shortening of them by clicking on the arrows. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Gnome-menu flickers https://launchpad.net/bugs/53805 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
