[Bug 1167097] Re: The mouse stops working randomly and have to reset

2013-05-07 Thread Christian Semmens
I get the same problem. Random mouse lock ups, the keyboard satys responsive.
Not every day, but enough to be annoying. Loging out doesn't help, neither does
killing off Lightdm and restarting it.
Only fix I have found so far is a reboot.

I use a USB keyboard with an adaptor to the PS/2 port.
Fresh install

Video : Catalyst (but had same trouble with stock driver)
Architecture: x86_64

[Bug 1032744] Re: udisksd crashed with SIGSEGV in udisks_daemon_util_check_authorization_sync()

2013-01-21 Thread Christian Semmens
(Dell Optiplex 990)
Still happening for me intermittently. The problem went away for a while, but
seems to be back again now.
Always on first login after turning on computer.
Log in to Unity is slow for first attempt. I also have problems with X not
starting every time, Just a mouse pointer overlaying the tty screen.. Sometimes
this clears on its own after a couple of minutes, sometimes lightdm needs a
restart. I realise this is a different bug, but mention it in passing.

[Bug 731343] Re: editing comments on .doc file prevents page from being scrolled using scrollbar

2012-04-14 Thread Christian Semmens
apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected oneiric running-unity

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: libreoffice

After editing a page comment and saving the page in an Office2010 .DOC file,
the scroll bar cannot be used to scroll past the edited comment. As soon as it
hits the top of the application window the page 'bounces' back to the top of
the page.
Using the cursor keys to pass beyond the bottom of the page removes the
problem and the scroll bar then works as normal.

the page.
Using the cursor keys to pass beyond the bottom of the page removes the problem
and the scroll bar then works as normal.
