[Bug 444907] Re: Files with extension .ashx fail to load
I just found out that an ashx file is an ASP.NET Web Handler File, so the extension is an error from the website I downloaded it from, not an actual document format. Still, Evince should be able to open it regardless of filename extension. -- Files with extension .ashx fail to load https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/444907 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 444907] Re: Files with extension .ashx fail to load
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 444962 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/444962 I'm not sure it's a duplicate of #444962 - Nautilus doesn't render all files as text files (or any non-text files as text files for that matter) and neither removing ~/.local/share/mime, running update-mime- database.real -V ~/.local/share/mime/, running sudo update-mime- database /usr/share/mime; sudo update-desktop-database or running Evince from a terminal (in all cases) fixes the problem. -- Files with extension .ashx fail to load https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/444907 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 57882] Re: xv surfaces show extreme corruption
I'm afraid I can't since I'm currently running Ubuntu with an ATI card (which has distortion on all offscreen surfaces, but that's a different bug). -- xv surfaces show extreme corruption https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/57882 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 205773] Re: Nautilus tries to copy a dragged file into Network on hover and freezes
It's pretty well described in the bug description - I get the exact same error. I can confirm that this happens in the latest Gutsy as well. [Bug 72143] Re: please revert startup sounds
I think the new startup sound is nice, in composition, but I dislike the actual samples used, as they sound like they are taken directly from the Korg X5D synthesizer, which makes it sound rather homemade. Is it possible to remake the sound with different samples? Maybe this would fix this bug as well. -- please revert startup sounds https://launchpad.net/bugs/72143 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
