A user reported this problem for the latest SmartGit, too, though we already set a couple of environment variables in the launcher script to prevent it. He runs Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon and had the Global Application Menu applet installed. Hi, Environment: * Fedora 20 - 3.15.10-200.fc20.x86_64 * Java 1.7.0_60 * Eclipse Luna Version: Luna Release (4.4.0) Build id: 20140612-0600 I have had Eclipse crash fairly regularly for me whilst debugging. [Bug 911981] [NEW] tracker-store uses 100% cpu and fills all the disk space in home partition
Public bug reported: I recently noticed that several tracker related programs were using 100% cpu on my system and in particular tracker-store filled up completely all the available disk space in my home partition. I rerun tracker-preferences to make sure that indexing would not proceed if less than 20% of free space is available, but it seems that tracker- store ignores it. [Bug 288303] Re: configuring network interfaces hangs with auto eth0 in /etc/network/interfaces and cable unplugged
Hello, I had the same issue with the boot process hanging during the configuring network interfaces stage and I solved it reverting the change in /etc/network/interfaces that very likely happened during the upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10. In 8.04 I had in /etc/network/interfaces the following lines: auto eth0 #iface eth0 inet dhcp After the upgrade to 8.10, I found in /etc/network/interfaces that the following line was uncommented: iface eth0 inet dhcp and that is what is causing the hang during boot. I just commented it back and now I have no hang at boot and as a nice side effect, now also the wired network interface can be managed from the Network Manager. I did not find yet any downside, so feel free to try this change and report back any issue. Thanks, Paolo -- configuring network interfaces hangs with auto eth0 in /etc/network/interfaces and cable unplugged https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/288303 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Is anybody still looking into this issue? Can anybody give me a hint where I should start to debug this issue? Is removing UUIDs from fstab the only accepted solution? [Bug 295203] Re: Swap not mounting after install
I can confirm this problem exists also on my laptop with Intrepid (updated from Hardy) and in my case it's not depending on the mismatched UUID in fstab. The swap is not mounted at all at boot time and running manually a sudo swapon -a -e wouldn't do anything either. This is exactly the same command that is run by the mountall.sh script during startup and during boot the error message says that no swap partitions could be found in fstab. The only way I found to activate the swap is to run swapon manually using the UUID identifier of the partition sudo swapon -U 8189edab- 1fd5-49b9-abfb-6f616b7b27ea. [Bug 223050] [NEW] Calibration whith new elographics driver

In the previous version, (Ubuntu 7.10) we don't have any problem with the driver in our POS machines (whit Elo touch screens). We want to migrate any POS machines to Ubuntu 8.04 but the calibration is imposible (we not reach that task). The Y axis works with the MinY and MaxY values from our previous xorg.conf (from Ubuntu 7.10) but changed (switch beetwen MinY and MaxY) but the X axis not work properly with the previuos values (and with any values). The cursor movement is inverted in the X axis, and, after loot of hours to try and error, we desist from the calibration task and, at the moment, we rest in the previous version of Ubuntu (7.10). ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-elographics (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bug calibration elographics screen touch xorg -- Calibration whith new elographics driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223050 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
