[Bug 899890] Re: Xorg crash automatic logout

2012-02-08 Thread Enternix
Still the same problem. I tried out ubuntu 11.10 32-Bit and 64-Bit a few days
ago and nothing changed: the system crashes regulary. So I am using Xubuntu
11.10 again, which had not a single crash since I installed it before two month.
I hope, the problem will be fixed in Ubuntu 12.04 with Unity!

Same problem in 11.10: Bug #887794
@eumetaxas: What do you mean with xfs? The X-Font-Server? In my case the
X-Font-Server is not installed, though my system crashed a lot of times...

[Bug 899890] [NEW] Xorg crash automatic logout

2011-12-04 Thread Enternix
Public bug reported:

Maybe this is a duplicate of Bug #887794:
Since I removed Ubuntu 11.04 and installed 11.10 it is a disaster: nearly
everyday my system crashes and I am logged out automatically and all my unsaved
documents are lost. So I made a new installation but the problem remains. So I
tried out Gnome 3 and LXDE instead of Unity. In Gnome 3 the logouts remained
but in LXDE the system seems to be stable. I will try XFCE as well, but I would
rather use Unity!

P.S.: I made this apport-bug right after a crash today.

2011-12-03 Thread Enternix
I have the same problem: Bug #899531 (already marked as duplicate).
Since I removed Ubuntu 11.04 and installed 11.10, the system crashes nearly
everyday without any prior warning and the login-screen appears. The same
behavior in Gnome 3. Only LXDE seems to work (no crashes since I installed it
before 10 days).

[Bug 783126] Re: Kile missing icons and widgets look bad in Unity

2011-10-30 Thread Enternix
I can confirm the problem of missing icons in almost every KDE-
application with the global menu in Unity. But in case of Inkscape: I
suppose it's not a bug of appmenu-qt but appmenu-gtk (e.g. Bug #882464
).

[Bug 876201] Re: There are no icons in application menus in Unity

2011-10-28 Thread Enternix
I think, Firefox doesn't use appmenu-gtk for their global menu. They
have their own firefox-globalmenu-package. In my case, there are no
problems with the icons in Firefox, so long as I switched on the Menu
have icons-Option in the gnome-tweak-tool (german firefox-screenshot
attached). I personally have only problems with the icons in Inkscape,
Gimp and some KDE-programs (Bug #882464: missing icons in dropdown-menus
of inkscape and gimp).

[Bug 883085] [NEW] missing icons in dropdown-menus of KDE-Programs (e.g. k3b, frescobaldi)

2011-10-28 Thread Enternix
Public bug reported:

I switched on the option Menus have icons in the gnome-tweak-tool
and the same option in systemsettings for KDE. In KDE-Programs, like
Frescobaldi or K3B, many of the icons in the dropdown-menus are still
missing. If I switch of the global menu by removing appmenu-qt,
everything works fine and no icons are missing in the dropdown-menus.

[Bug 775702] Re: Some menu icons missing in Inkscape since upgrade to 11.04

2011-10-28 Thread Enternix
I noticed the problem with missing icons only in context of appmenu-gtk
(e.g. Inkscape) and appmenu-qt (e.g. K3B). Maybe it is more a problem of
these packages (Bug #882464: missing icons in dropdown-menus of inkscape
and gimp; Bug #883085: missing icons in dropdown-menus of KDE-Programs
(e.g. k3b, frescobaldi) ) It would be so nice, to to get rid of this
annoying problem...

[Bug 874808] Re: No icons in the dropdown menu with unity in Ubuntu 11.10

2011-10-23 Thread Enternix
Some of the icons of Inkscape and Gimp are missing under Oneiric Ocelot
only if I am using Unity. Oneiric Ocelot with Gnome3, KDE, XFCE, LXDE or
Gnome Classic has no problems to display all icons properly. Therefore,
it seems to be a bug of Unity in Oneiric Ocelot.

The problem doesn't occur in Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity, when you remove
the global menu (appmenu-gtk).
