Public bug reported: My Canon MP499 printer is recognized, but if i try to use it in LibreOffice Writer, a message appears (see above). Using translate, it shows this message: Printer cannot be started. [Bug 328906] [NEW] opening particular PDF in evince causes memory usage to spike
Public bug reported: Upon opening this particular PDF file (attached), the memory usage of Evince spikes to 100 MB when the file itself is only ~50 KB. This does not occur with any other PDF file (that I have found thus far). This is with Evince 2.22.2 with Poppler 0.6.4 on Hardy with latest updates. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance in resolving this bug.
