[Bug 1867552] Re: FFe: Sync warzone2100 3.3.0-2 (universe) from Debian sid (main)

2020-03-22 Thread Gianfranco Costamagna via ubuntu-bugs
even if the diff is huge, the new features are really minimal compared to bug
fixed, such as:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=862917

this bug prevented the package from working properly, so I don't think
the new version can make things worse wrt that.

Also, for an LTS release, the change of the save/load game format is
something we should have in any case, to avoid subsequent breaking
changes in the future (considering the LTS lifespan)

warzone2100 (3.3.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New upstream version with NullBot as default AI among many other changes.
Save game format is incompatible with 3.2.x.
  * Build depend on wkhtmltopdf for wkhtmltopdf command to make pdf from html
  * Remove quickstartguide.patch as we need to build some pdfs because
upstream doesn't ship them.
  * Build depend on libglm-dev so we don't need 3rdparty/glm
  * Added an excessive number of rules to debian/source/options, maybe some
changes to the build commands are needed to deal with this.
  * doc/Readme.en is no longer in the upstream tarball.
  * Uploaded with approval of Markus.

[Bug 1867551] Re: FFe: Sync ipset 7.5-1~exp1 (main) from Debian experimental (main)

I didn't see any new feature in this version, compared with the version
in Ubuntu the diff seems to be related to bugfixes and new autopkgtests
+ debian packaging cleanups

[Bug 1866881] Re: Autopkgtest regression triggered by Ruby 2.7

2020-03-11 Thread Gianfranco Costamagna via ubuntu-bugs
meh, I did have a look when I firstly introduced the delta, it was
somewhat related to some internal LP configuration (it tries to talk
with some localhost service), and I decide to patch back on disco days,
one year ago.

I sponsored this one, because it doesn't indeed regress what is in
release currently, but some more investigation is welcome, because I
failed to trace it down to a real cause.

[Bug 1859404] [NEW] binutils regressed llvm-toolchain-9 and llvm-toolchain-7 bootstrap on arm64

2020-01-13 Thread Gianfranco Costamagna via ubuntu-bugs
Public bug reported:

Retrying builds on bileto with the release only pocket enabled worked
correctly.

Still trying to figure out what can have regressed it (Debian doesn't show the
issue, but probably it is affected on the same way, just his CPUs can
understand the new instructions?

[Bug 1300398] Re: Thunar don't refresh directory on content change

2019-12-09 Thread Gianfranco Costamagna via ubuntu-bugs
I uploaded a fix here:
https://launchpad.net/~costamagnagianfranco/+archive/ubuntu/costamagnagianfranco-ppa/+build/18202090

it might fix not all the refresh issues, but I have confirmations about
an improvement of the current status-quo

** Changed in: thunar (Ubuntu)
Assignee: (unassigned) => Gianfranco Costamagna (costamagnagianfranco)

** Description changed:

- When something change in directory, like saving (creating new) file,
- from terminal or just calling save as (for instance in inkscape or
- create compresed file using context menu) the file don't appear in
- directory (you need to hit F5 to refresh the view).
+ [ Info ]

terminal or just calling save as (for instance in inkscape or create compresed
file using context menu) the file don't appear in directory (you need to hit F5
to refresh the view).

+ [ Steps to reproduce ]
To reproduce you can for instance,

  1. Right click inside directory and create new file (it will appear)
  2. Open terminal and go to the same directory
  3. Remove the file from terminal

The file will not disappear from directory in Thunar.

  Xubuntu 13.10, Thunar 1.6.3 package: 1.6.3-1ubuntu1(saucy)

[Bug 1852435] Re: Boots fine with 5.3.0-19, doesn't boot any more with 5.3.0-22

2019-11-29 Thread Gianfranco Costamagna via ubuntu-bugs
My blame list contains:
- tpm_tis_core: Turn on the TPM before probing IRQ's
- tpm_tis_core: Set TPM_CHIP_FLAG_IRQ before probing for interrupts
- tpm: Wrap the buffer from the caller to tpm_buf in tpm_send()

[Bug 1847662] Re: virtualbox-dkms fails to build with 18.04-hwe-edge kernel 5.3.0-12 [error: void value not ignored as it ought to be, from smp_call_function]

2019-11-21 Thread Gianfranco Costamagna via ubuntu-bugs
The usual verification has been performed correctly, and also the test kernel
matrix is now green, 10 days have passed with no new bugs, I think it is safe
to land
(I got 3 bugs similar to this one, with version 5.2.32, and I presume they are
all fixed if we make this version land)
