[Bug 424837] [NEW] The synchronise calendar function does not work
Public bug reported: In order to make the connection work at all I needed to install the karmic package (am currently running 9.04). Now I can connect to the palm, and setting the option 'copy to palm' everything works fine with the calendar. However setting it to synchronise means that no changes are copied either to the palm or from the palm. I have a Palm T|X, am using Ubuntu 9.04, and the usb: method of connecting to the palm. Apparently thats because the Xpress 200M is an old chipset (given their specs page suggests Microsoft® Windows® Media Center Edition 2005) mine is a/ pretty new, and b/ is based off the radeon HD3300 (780GX) chipset, which is definitely newer than the 200M - it shouldnt affect me. Just another comment, more of the same, amd64, ubuntu jaunty kernel 2.6.28-11-generic. Freezes with either empty wastebasket or rm -rf/rm/etc. EXT4 native, not a converted EXT3, unfortunately system does not respond to SysRq and getting debug logs is almost impossible. If I can be any more helpful rather than just adding another person onto the list of 'this affects me and is a bit of a showstopper', please shout. Hey Evan, you're correct - originally was failing to install from the usb sticks - once the install got to the post-language and keyboard choices it was saying that it could not mount the cd drive, however, having rerun the images it appears to be working fine, so I think the report can probably be closed, sorry to bother you! I too have had this error, this is now the third repeat of the same issue, I have an ATI Radeon 9800, using the open source drivers, compiz works normally, but with the gnome-compiz-manager trying to enable the desktop effects it throws up two boxes of 'keep previous settings' and then proceeds to throw up the crash report. I tried to recreate the crash but failed miserably, I have had another random crash since, here are the odd bits which I think may help (If there is anything else I can do please ask, apologies if I havent done everything, I'm not 100% sure of how to do all the things you asked, but here we go: I have the flash 9.0 package from the Ubuntu 6.10 repos installed at the moment. I have JRE and JDK 1.6.0 installed (is that what you mean?) If not, how do I check which one firefox is using? Finally, I have no extensions installed. [Bug 75000] Update manager failing to update packages properly causing crashes in X and corrupting system.
