Am using the fglrx driver, I seem to remember it happening on the old
drivers - but will switch over to have a look soon (pretty overloaded
with work atm, so bit busy)
As far as whether it happens with compiz off, again will check asap.
Have attached glxinfo and fglrxinfo output, anything else you want
shout.
