[Bug 1553503] Re: multi monitors - black flashes or black screen when the mouse cursor leaves a monitor
I've cherry-picked e2e407dc093f530b771ee8bf8fe1be41e3cea8b3 on to 4.4.0-28.47 and compiled the kernel and it looks like this did solve the issue. (Just tested for 15 minutes, but with the default kernel it appeared within seconds already). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1553503 Title: multi monitors - black flashes or black screen when the mouse cursor leaves a monitor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1553503/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1553503] Re: multi monitors - black flashes or black screen when the mouse cursor leaves a monitor
Christopher, I'm hitting this bug too on my Thinkpad x250 with a dockingstation and two external displays. I'm happy to test, but haven't built a kernel in a long time. Any guidance on how to apply that commit? Is it like this: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection#Testing_a_newly_released_patch_from_upstream If I'm reading it correct that would build the kernel from master and not apply that commit to a 4.4 branch, so not sure how to test. [Bug 1242079] Re: 13.10 Bluetooth: can't load firmware, may not work correctly
I investigated this bug today and discovered two things. If i boot with Kernel 3.8.0-35 (latest raring Kernel) I do not encounter this bug. For Saucy I found a workaround and some kind of a fix. Workaround: I can enable bluetooth from a shell using sudo rfkill unblock bluetooth http://askubuntu.com/a/369844/173286 Fix: Follow these instruktions: http://askubuntu.com/a/370386/173286 This works for me as long as I use the On/Off switch from the indicator. If I switch it On using Bluetooth in Systemsettings it still switches back to Off. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242079 Title: 13.10 Bluetooth: can't load firmware, may not work correctly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1242079/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
