[Bug 1238635] [NEW] Inconsistent logic of file navigation
Public bug reported: There are several situations in Thunar where consistency of behaviour is lacking: 1. Go to any directory with some files or directories in it and delete a file with 'del'. Now there is no selection of a file or directory. With 'Cursor down' I get the selection of the entry at the top of the list. I would expect to get to the bottom here. 2. Go to any directory with some files or directories in it and delete a file with 'del'. Now there is no selection of a file or directory. With 'pos 1' I get sort of a semi-selection of the entry at the top of the list (slightly more dark with a thin frame ). It is not possible to rename or delete the entry in this semi-selected state, but I can enter with 'enter'. Adding a 'Cursor Up' or 'Cursor Down' brings you to fully select the entry. Mind that 'end' instead of 'pos 1' brings you to the bottom entry of the list with full selection as one would expect. 3. Go to any directory with some files or directories in it. Choose sort order a-z for the name. Create a folder 'a' and rename it to 'z'. Now the first entry in the list is semi-selected and the folder I just renamed to 'z' is fully selected. With 'F2' or 'del' I can operate on the fully selected Folder ('z'), with 'enter' I enter the semi-selected folder. [Bug 1002300] [NEW] mute button on internal keyboard not working
Public bug reported: I use a Thinkpad R500 with an external keybord (Logitech G230). The G230 also has the special keys for volume up/down/mute and they work fine, including the on screen display. What does not work is the mute button of the integrated keyboard of the Thinkpad. I found out about it today when sound stopped working entirely after fiddeling with the special keys on the external keyboard. [Bug 941470] [NEW] Resolution for external monitor missing in list for DFP1
Public bug reported: I use a Thinkpad R500 (1680x1050) with a docking station and an external monitor (1920x1200) attached to it. Yes, the START=yes is there in /etc/default/thinkfan. After reporting the bug I found that thinkfan does work properly from time to time and then I don't have to start it manually. I have no idea when and why this is the case but what I can say is that also the energy saving mechanism which switches off the screen after 10 mins or so is not working at the same time and only at the same time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/781654 Title: Fan turns at high speed all the time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thinkfan/+bug/781654/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 801919] [NEW] Not able to access subfolder in imap account
Public bug reported: I changed my email account from pop3 to imap today. In the inbox of the old pop3-account there are a lot of subfolders. After creating the imap-account in thunderbird I started to copy all the subfolders from the pop3-inbox to the imap-inbox. Doing so I get an error message when trying to access the subfolder last copied to the imap-inbox. The error message is: "Unable to connect to your IMAP server. You may have exceeded the maximum number of connections to this server. If so use the Advanced IMAP-Server settings dialog to reduce the number of cached connections" This happens after the copying process is finished, regardless of the size of the subfolder and happens everytime.
