[Bug 991167] Re: No text in settings or options menus
It looks like it has been a persistent problem following upgrades, but it may affect users who have certain configs, such as GNOME fallback or shell, installed. In my case I had both of those and had been using them widely before and just after the upgrade. I fixed it by committing to a full, fresh install of 12.04. That was a bit of a stretch JUST to get one important app to work. [Bug 991167] [NEW] No text in settings or options menus
Public bug reported: When I open any of the settings or options windows, there's no text in the options menus. This affects ALL settings dialogs. I can't change anything or work with any documents because of this. To fix, I purged all LO files, then reinstalled from Software Center. I thought the issue might be related to the installation of LO in the /opt/ directory before the upgrade... that that installation might be conflicting with the new one. Nothing fixed. 2 screenshots attached. Anyone else having this major issue?
