[Bug 2061383] [NEW] [noble] Add ManageForeignNextHops feature to fix NextHop deletions
Public bug reported: Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to integrate the new ManageForeignNextHops feature via a backport into Ubuntu 24.04. Without this feature/bugfix we have problems with systemd-networkd deleting the Nexthops of FRR on a restart of Switch failure. This is especially problematic with our EVPN setup. [Bug 1934647] Re: [HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0xxx] Black screen at login using 5.8.0-59, but 5.8.0-43 and 5.12.14 work fine
Noting here that the fix for 1936708 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/hirsute/+source/linux/+bug/1936708) also resolves this problem for me. (Granted, that seems to be in the works only for 5.11.x on Hirsute, and not 5.8.x on Focal, but I figure it's worth flagging for others affected.) [Bug 1936708] Re: Wobbly graphics on built-in display since linux-image-5.11.0-22-generic
Slightly off-topic, but hopefully related enough: I've been affected by [freedesktop #3569][0], which also is related to older eDP panels and which started with the 5.11.0-22 as in the original report here. (Instead of "wobbly" graphics, I simply get no graphics whatsoever.) Happy to report that 5.11.0-38.42 from [ubuntu/hirsute-next@master-next (7d77830)][1] resolves that issue for me as well. I have the same issue with an HP EliteBook 840 G5, using an Intel Core i5-8250U (Intel UHD Graphics 620) and an AMD Radeon RX 540. Under a clean Focal install (20.04.2), I can successfully boot and use my machine under kernel 5.8.0-55, but I get the blank screen described by other commenters under 5.8.0-59. `journalctl` and `inxi` output is available here: https://gist.github.com/myersjustinc/7a60811f846df88bab96b5207c4975f5 Under a clean Hirsute install (21.04), it similarly works under 5.11.0-18 and fails under 5.11.0-22. [Bug 873287]
Fixed in LO 7.0 by commit 38e7e6f348df5d6b37d7e0051fd3b8c227db69e6 Author: Justin Luth on Tue Apr 14 17:39:36 2020 +0300 tdf#132094 doc: fix export of fill in wrap-through fly frames This builds on commit 2f13dbac060ae6af7e25ad3eff675cc859cfb3ff by Miklos Vajna on Fri Jun 15 08:49:46 2012 +0100 n#325936 fix ww8 export of fly frames with transparent bg where he wisely and cautiously says Regression from commit ed8b5f2d -- to be safe, reverted only for fly frames in headers. because for some unknown reason, way back in 2002, commit ed8b5f2debac216243930aba0873e0d75de8d0dd forced all frames to specify a background fill. Typically of course this is white, and so who notices? Well, you notice if your frame is transparent, and now the area fill hides something that it is over top of. Like for example a transparent image, where the text wraps through the image. At first I was going to just try and revert everything. Then I decided it likely was a difference between how LO and MSO handled stacking/overlapping things. After that, I was going to just make an exception for eShapeType == mso_sptPictureFrame, but that only seems necessary if there is something underneath. If the something is just a background, that is handled anyway, so really it would only be other shapes or (most importantly) text, so the safest thing is testing wrap through, which there was already a pre-defined variable to reuse (and fix the spelling). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 132094 *** -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/873287 Title: [Upstream] Writer Picture Background No Fill does not persist saving to .doc To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/873287/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 897235]
OK - so I think this report is focusing on the three textboxes near the middle of the document, where the first one is a bit left compared to the others. The three are not lined up.left-aligned. It appears to me that the reason is because the first one is wider than the others - in fact it goes right to the edge of the paper. In Word the textbox spills off the end of the page. So that would be the reason - that LO makes the sane decision that content MUST fit on the paper. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/897235 Title: [Upstream] Rounded rectangle corners are indented importing Word .doc To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/897235/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 1877932] Re: Bluetooth not connecting to last paired device when enabling bluetooth
Hi, It is not connecting at Bluetooth level. Once I manage to get it connected, all works like charm. On Mon, May 11, 2020, 2:30 PM Sebastien Bacher wrote: > Thank you for your bug report. [Bug 1877970] Re: Alt-X keyboard shortcut not defined in LibreOffice 6.4
I tried looking in launchpad's patches, but don't see anything that specifically strips it out, so I imagine it must be related to a compile flag. In previous versions, it seems to be specified in [/usr/lib/libreoffice]share/registry/main.xcd - from which it is now missing. .uno:UnicodeNotationToggle value xml:lang="pt-BR"/> -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1877970 Title: Alt-X keyboard shortcut not defined in LibreOffice 6.4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1877970/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1877970] [NEW] Alt-X keyboard shortcut not defined in LibreOffice 6.4
Public bug reported: LibreOffice has default keyboard shortcuts defined. In Ubuntu 20.04 and LibreOffice 6.4, it seems like some of those keyboard shortcuts are missing. Specifically I was looking for Alt-X (for LibreOffice in general, not only writer). Alt-X is defined by default in a LibreOffice source compile. [Bug 1877932] [NEW] Bluetooth not connecting to last paired device when enabling bluetooth
Public bug reported: I am using a Dell Lattitude E7470 laptop. I am trying to connect a Bluetooth headset (Anker). I am seeing this issue with the latest upgrade to the Ubuntu 20.04 LTS version. I have a Bluetooth headset which is paired with the machine. Given the Bluetooth is enabled in the Ubuntu machine and I switch on my Bluetooth headset, the ubuntu machine does not automatically connect to this device anymore. It used to do it very easily with 18.04,19.04 and 19.10 ubuntu version. I have to do a variety of steps to get it connected: * turn off and on the headset. * turn off and on the laptop bluetooth. * try manully connecting to the device from the setting menu multiple times. * Sometimes it detects and get connected automatically as it should.
