Public bug reported: Xorg gesture recognition conflicts with uTouch. Examples: Try to do a pinch-zoom gesture on non-multitouch enabled app(firefox for example): Expected result: Nothing(as in OSX) What is happening: page scrooling because two finger scrool was identified by Xorg before uTouch identify that this is pinch-zoom. [Bug 749590] Re: Two finger scrooling in Unity
Hi! Can somebody set some priority to this? Maybe some developer is interesed to fix this :)? For example, if I move windows, using 3 fingers - moving is very smooth. I think, the same event, but with 2 fingers, can be used to replace default Xorg(?) trackpad driver to make 2-finger scrooling more smooth :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/749590 Title: Two finger scrooling in Unity -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 749590] [NEW] Two finger scrooling in Unity
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: utouch Currently, to enable two finger scrolling, you must enable it in touchpad preferences. AND scrolling is not as smooth as it should be ... Two finger scrooling should be performed at uTouch level. After implementing this, this option should be dropped from touchpad preferences. And, it should be enabled by default. ** Affects: utouch (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/749590 Title: Two finger scrooling in Unity -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 749618] [NEW] uTouch needs configuration center
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: utouch uTouch needs a module in the system configuration. It should be possible to modify the response to the gestures. There will be default values of Ubuntu (for example, as Unity responds to gestures), but if user want to change this, let him do this. And, if this is not implemented, uTouch API should provide, what is gestures for popular actions, like switching web pages, and, for example switching to next photos in another application. That should be done with the same gesture. Sorry for my bad english :/ ** Affects: utouch (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/749618 Title: uTouch needs configuration center -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
