[Bug 1163905] [NEW] Backport-Request: Failure in Duply's pre-scripts are muted

[Bug 1123950] [NEW] /etc/init.d/stud restart does not start the daemon
Public bug reported: I guess it is a race condition, as /etc/init.d/stud stop; /etc/init.d/stud start shows the same problem while adding a sleep 1 before the call to do_start fixes the problem. There is also a (unrelated) bug in the function do_stop(): there is a variable notfound=1 but it is not set to 0 in the for loop (as is the case in 'do_start'). This causes the return value to be 1: [ $notfound -eq 1 ] return 1 But this has nothing to do with the restart problem as both return values 0 and 1 are in the same case statement, so no difference to program flow. ** Affects: stud (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1123950 Title: /etc/init.d/stud restart does not start the daemon To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/stud/+bug/1123950/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1036093] [NEW] nova volume-attach with high device name keeps volume in state attaching
Public bug reported: If I attach a volume to a high device name, e.g. /dev/vdm nova volume-attach f91e2097-5e2f-47df-90ea-f6da292df41b 4072 /dev/vdm then nothing happens within the instance and the volume is in the state attaching. According to the logs the iscsi attach works and the lv is in use by tgt. After that, I am unable to detach the volume or shutdown the instance. The first device that causes the problem is /dev/vdk which means the first 10 letters a-j are working fine. ** Affects: nova (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nova in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1036093 Title: nova volume-attach with high device name keeps volume in state attaching To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nova/+bug/1036093/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 989445] [NEW] shorewall ignores local configuration when reading remote configuration
Public bug reported: The configuration in a local shorewall.conf file is ignored when using shorewall load / reload while checking the remote configuration with shorewall-lite show config. In line 1347, the function rsh_command is called, but the configuration is read later in line 1376. I attached a patch that moves reading of the local configuration before the call to rsh_command, which fixes the problem for me.
