[Bug 566608] [NEW] The button to copy tracks from a music cd is hard to find
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox Insert an Audio CD and select the option to open in Rythmbox. There is a button in the toolbar to copy the tracks on the CD to your library. It's icon is a disc. It has no label. Without scrubbing the toolbar, and reading the tooltips for each icon, it's not at all obvious how to copy the tracks to your library. The main problem is that Ubuntu is now set to have toolbars use text beside icons - and with this option only the Play button has a label. Yes, this is definitely an issue in Jaunty (GNOME 2.26.1). The upstream bug says the size should be shown in the status bar (which it does do _if_ you select all the files), however I think the total size should be far more prominent. [Bug 406917] [NEW] Items in menus not selected when mouse against screen edge
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: human-theme The 'Applications' and FUSA menus rest against the screen edges and yet when the mouse is against or very close to the edge the items in the menu are not highlighted and cannot be clicked. This is also an issue with the 'File' menu in maximised windows. [Bug 387542] Re: No obvious way to show Trash, Home, etc. icons on Desktop
Bug #62529 should be fixed in Karmic meaning you can drag Bookmarks like Home, Documents, Pictures, etc. from 'Places' menu to your Desktop to create links. If Trash is a bookmark you should also be able to drag that to the Desktop. [Bug 404150] [NEW] Most recent downloads should be shown first in 'Downloads' folder
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus Files in the Downloads folder can add up. At the moment the folder is sorted by name and it can be hard to find the file you recently downloaded. It's easy to forget a filename, and at the moment the download could be listed anywhere in a long wash of icons. It would be much better to immediately see the most recent downloads when I open the folder. Arranging icons by 'Modification Date' and in a 'Reversed Order' seems to solve this problem. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Most recent downloads should be shown first in 'Downloads' folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/404150 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
