[Bug 1585332] Re: Graphical snaps don't honour the desktop theme
Please fix ASAP: Ubuntu is often praised for "Accessibility". "Honouring" dark themes is an absolute MUST for this. [Bug 1589810] Re: package libcuda1-361 361.45.11-0ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: there is no script in the new version of the package - giving up
I am having the same problem with libcuda1-364 and nvidia-graphics- drivers-364. I found other reports about people experiencing this with even other driver versions (340) as well. It looks to me that this is bug affects (almost) all nvidia driver versions. [Bug 601750] Re: cwirc does not work with pulseaudio natively
As running Xirc with padsp won't solve the problem I created this simple wrapper script. Simply put it into /usr/local/bin and make it executable. Because /usr/local/bin is parsed before /usr/bin, Xirc's call of cwirc_frontend will call the wrapper with the same name. The wrapper then calls the original cwirc_frontend program with all argumens and padsp. [Bug 996791] Re: Xubuntu 12.04 extremely slow login
Interesting are the things (at least in my situation) that make the problem NOT happen: - logging in with an account that is not having an encrypted homedrive. - no network connection during login. This one is interesting: Usually applications like Synaptic that need a root password show the same annoying delay before the enter password dialog show up. But when I unplug the network I cannot only login to my encrypted account without a delay, but applications like Synaptic show no delay, even when I have connected to the network again. My conclusion is that something goes wrong during login. If that goes wrong the whole session is suffering - including logout. I am observing this on several machines - the problem is much more obvious on slower machines. This is not related to faulty harddrives - I am observing it on three machines with different HDs.
