I purged samba and all related packages and deleted smb.conf and reinstalled samba. Now all is working like it should. I have two Fritz!Boxes tied together over VPN, one network is 192.168.10.0 und the other 192.168.20.0. My intention was to have samba access to windows boxes in 192.168.20.0 network too. But that never worked out. So it is right, that this bug report was because of a faulty smb.conf, so it can be closed now. With ppa:tspindler/unity-761409 the Problem went away, but since 2 oder 3 days the problem came back. What the heck is going on there. That's far away from a usable system. The latest working driver is currently 177.67. Bevor it had worked with 100.something (sorry I don't remember) With other drivers it freezes bevor it can actually write to Xorg.0.log. It probably has something to do with my system configuration, because in Windows Vista, there too only some nvidia drivers work. The same system freeze happens.
