Public bug reported: I tried to install Ubuntu 17.10 on a 32-bit Laptop (eeePC900A) from the mini.iso on a USB stick. The install starts, but hangs at the stage of the mirror selection with the error message / Warning: "choose-mirror: mirror does not support the specified release (artful)" Choosing any other mirror does not change things. [Bug 477630] [NEW] evince does not print pdf documents any more.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince The document seems to be sent to the printer, but does not print. An empty page is ejected. If I print to a file and afterwards open the file with evince, the document is printed correctly. xpdf prints the same pdf document correctly. I tested several pdf documents. evince shows the same behaviour with all. I can confirm this bug. To solve the problem i use the options: Option XaaNoScreenToScreenCopy Option XaaNoSolidFillRect in the xorg.conf GLX is also effected by the bug.
