[Bug 1098779] Re: Xorg freeze
I can confirm this on 100%, with some more details: - I haven't tried ssh, but my power button works - not forcing it, I see messages about terminating running processes. - Kernel image version is irrelevant, I've tried with 3.5.0-17-generic, 3.5.0-21-generic, 3.5.0-22-generic. - fglrx-updates gives the same result. - Installing the latest drivers from AMD's website also doesn't work (both the latest stable and Catalyst 12.11 Beta 11). Xorg.0.log says Screens found, but none have a usable configuration. (from memory, I'm on another machine right now and will post the full log later). My graphics adapter is AMD Mobility Radeon HD 7650M on a Sony Vaio E series (SVE1712V1EB) laptop. I did a lot of googling and it seems like only a few guys on Arch Linux have managed to run a Radeon HD 7000M series adapter with fglrx. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1098779 Title: Xorg freeze To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1098779/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 177792] Remove selected doesn't work in the directory tree
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnomebaker When burning something, on the lower left side of the window there's a directory tree. You can click on some directory that you included in the list for burning and click on Remove selected. However, nothing actually happens when you click it. I guess nobody has reported this yet, as you can simply do this on the right side, where the disk/image contents are shown, so it's not that a big deal. ** Affects: gnomebaker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Remove selected doesn't work in the directory tree https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/177792 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I agree on that and I've never said it should work this way just because Windows does. [Bug 113259] localeconf exits if you try to select to override any of the functions
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: localeconf I do 'dpkg-reconfigure localeconf' to select my locales, and it gives me the option to override the default one for some of the variables(LC_MESSAGES for example). However, if I select to override it - the configurator just exits without changing anything(even no error message). This existed since Edgy, but my computer at home was already configured, so I didn't notice it. I've also noticed that there are only UTF-8 locales in Feisty? I'm sorry to say, but ... that sucks. :( ** Affects: localeconf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- localeconf exits if you try to select to override any of the functions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/113259 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 110228] gnomemines pause when moving or resizing window
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-games When moving or resizing the window of gnomemines, the game pauses automatically and the Press to resume button appears even if the game was never started, no matter that the window is on focus all the time.
