[Bug 882955] Re: Xorg restart and goes back to lightdm after entering keyring's passoword
This bug only seems to occur when I type the keyring's password really fast at login. It looks like I've found a fix : waiting for a few seconds before entering it. I'm not really happy about it because : - I still don't know which app is requesting to open the keyring - Until I've typed the password, I can't move any window (but I can launch firefox) I'd be happy to give out more information to have this fixed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/882955 Title: Xorg restart and goes back to lightdm after entering keyring's passoword To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/882955/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 882955] [NEW] Xorg restart and goes back to lightdm after entering keyring's passoword
Public bug reported: I have automatic login and after booting I have to enter my keyring's password (even without launching any apps, I think it's gwibber requesting it) About 50% of the time, system hangs for 2 seconds instantly after I validate my password and goes back to my login screen (lightdm). [Bug 882817] Re: shutdown screen stuck after upgrade to Ubuntu 11.10
Same problem on two different PCs, a desktop with intel and a laptop with nvidia graphics, so I don't think it's graphic driver related. I can see the shutdown screen and the dots under Ubuntu keep on blinking. If I hit Esc I can see the last msg is All processes ... within 2 seconds Both my PC have 64-bit installs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/882817 Title: shutdown screen stuck after upgrade to Ubuntu 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/882817/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 583410] [NEW] Default keyring isn't properly created and can't be used in french version of ubuntu
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-keyring I recently installed ubuntu 10.04 on 4 different computers and noticed this : When creating the first default keyring, the french version of ubuntu tries to call it Par Défaut (by default in French), but because of the é it creates a broken keyring. It doesn't work, and tries to create a new keyring every time you need it. It also appears as a keyring with no name in the keyring manager and you can't do anything with it (not even removing it) The workaround I had to do was to remove this bogus keyrings from ~/.gnome2/keyring, create a new one with a name not containing any special character and flag it as default. I think most basic users won't be able to have it working... [Bug 286285] Re: kernel 2.6.27-7-generic bug BUG: scheduling while atomic: swapper/0/0x00000100
@Jamie: I've found many bugs reporting kernel panics using intel wifi chips, is it really necessary that I file a new one ? The interesting thing is that using ethernet solved my kernel panics, the /var/log/ growing and the dd process using the whole CPU. I attached the files concerning minimal information. I didn't use any wifi since my last reboot so the dmesg is clean from the repeating scheduler error. If needed, I can use wifi, wait for the bug and run some tests/logs for you before my PC crash (which happens soon or later when I use wifi). ** Attachment added: dmesg.log http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19906927/dmesg.log -- kernel 2.6.27-7-generic bug BUG: scheduling while atomic: swapper/0/0x0100 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286285 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

2.6.27-8 didn't fix the problem for me, but disabling wifi worked out well.
