[Bug 1604496] [NEW] TFTP boot: error: time out opening '/grub/i386-pc/normal.mod'

2016-07-19 Thread Robster
Public bug reported:

My DHCP server sends the PXE commands, grub gets load from the TFTP
server, but it is unable to load the grub.cfg file since it is trying to
TFTP to my firewall instead of the TFTP server.

1. DHCP and PXE server are NOT on the same subnet
2. Grub time out when it TFTP cause it is trying to TFTP to an invalid server
(It tries to TFTP to the firewalll)

the website below have a fix for the problem but it is not implemented in the

[Bug 603079] [NEW] Opening xlsx file fills memory and swap

2010-07-08 Thread Robster
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When trying to open a fairly large xlsx file (4.5MB) the loading
progress bar increases slowly for about 5 minutes, during which time the

open office freezes. The memory in use continues to gradually increase
until the swap is full, causing the whole system to freeze.

[Bug 270000] Re: Can't use OpenDNS and retain Awesome Bar functionality

2008-11-07 Thread Robster
I came across an issue with this and discovered that, the way firefox
decides whether what you are typing is a search term or a URL is by
querying the DNS server (usually your ISP). If the DNS server returns a
result for what you typed Firefox loads it as a URL. If the DNS does not
return a result, Firefox assumes its a search and queries Google (or
whatever search engine you specify in about: config keyword.url)

I came came across this because I tried typing ubuntu and Firefox
tried to load it as a URL.
