[Bug 565971] Re: I cannot mount my ipod shuffle. It shows up with the systemadministrationdisk utility; but it doesn't have any mountable partitions. (It actually does)
After reading Writing udev rules at http://www.reactivated.net/writing_udev_rules.html, I experimeted with the /lib/udev/rules.d/90-libgpod.rules. I changed the value of ENV{DEVTYPE}== from partition to disk. This worked for my iPod Shuffle 512 MB and iPod Mini 6GB. They're automatically mounted and RhythmBox can see them and I can resync music to them. -- I cannot mount my ipod shuffle. [Bug 544358] Re: copy does not work when doing selection with shift key
I've also noted this behavior with lxterminal and xfce4-terminal. I agree that there is some connection between this bug and bug #57568. If you drag to make a selection and then expand the selection using shift+left click, when you copy and paste you get only the part that was selected using the drag gesture. -- copy does not work when doing selection with shift key https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544358 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 579568] Re: Truncates text when copying to clipboard
I've also experienced a selection created by a click at a starting point followed by shift+click at the ending point to not be copied. When pasting, the previous selection created by dragging over the desired text is still in the clipboard and is pasted instead of the new selection. [Bug 548444] Re: items can't be selected and no context menu
This happens in View as Detailed List view. Double-click on a folder to enter it. Return to the parent folder. Can't open any folders in the parent folder. Context menu has Open, etc., but doesn't work correctly. Open doesn't open the folder, Opening in another Tab or Window opens the parent folder; not the selected child folder. Properties takes the properties of the parent's parent folder; not the select child folder. Can go up to parent's parent folder but not into child folders. The workaround is to switch the view to Icons or Compact Lists. I've notice this problem with Thunar, too. -- items can't be selected and no context menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/548444 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 220013] Re: [hardy] Kernel panic with Zydas wifi and kernel 2.6.24
I'm updated to 2.6.24-21-generic and now my Belkin FD7050 v4xxx wireless doesn't hang; no blinking keyboard lights. All appears stable. I'm still not using Network Manager; just System - Administration - Network (network-admin). [Bug 220013] Re: [hardy] Kernel panic with Zydas wifi and kernel 2.6.24
Oops! I spoke too soon. This goodness only lasted 1:40 hours before things hung and the keyboard lights were blinking. I had left an apt-get running when things hung. [Bug 220013] Re: [hardy] Kernel panic with Zydas wifi and kernel 2.6.24
I removed the Network Manager applet and didn't use the System - Admin - Network (network-admin). Then I run configured /etc/network/interfaces to bring up the wireless interface. This worked for a little while and hung my system. My guess is that it's something with the kernel and drivers. [Bug 220013] Re: [hardy] Kernel panic with Zydas wifi and kernel 2.6.24
I have the same problem with thing hanging and requiring a reboot. I'm using Hardy with 2.6.24-19-generic and a Belkin FD7050 v4xxx. Hangs when using Wicd or Network Manager to connect to the wireless. The scroll and caps lock lights end up flashing on the PS/2 keyboard.
