[Bug 730023] Re: Mountall doesn't swapon with 'ignore'-d swap in fstab

2011-10-11 Thread Szunti
Sry for the poor quality patch, as I am not realy into programming, I
made it in the hope that showing which lines cause the problem, and
which changes are necessary, I help to the devs. If I'll have the time I
will try to make a better patch, although I think someone with more
knowledge could solve it in less time, than I need just to understand
the problem again. Also I am more interested in Arch nowadays

[Bug 730023] [NEW] Mountall doesn't swapon with 'ignore'-d swap in fstab

2011-03-06 Thread Szunti
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mountall

I use Maverick.

If there are more entrys in fstab with 'none' as mountpoint they
overwrite each other in mountall internal list unless the fstype is
swap. I had 2 swap partitions, one for ubuntu and one for arch, and
changed the latter type to 'ignore' but that overwrote the swap in
mountall as mentioned before, and it was not mounted.

fstab and patch to make new list item also with ignore types attached.

** Affects: mountall (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 573661] Re: gnome-volume-control slider moves both Master and PCM

2011-01-24 Thread Szunti
As I know it's rather a feature of pulseaudio then a bug. It let you use as
much volume controls of alsa as can to make you have more steps.
How you can change this behaviour:

1) http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1457462 to use just 1
control

  or

2) you can change which controls to use in /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-
mixer/paths/. (I decided to remove pulseaudio because it crashed too
much, and don't remember how to edit these files, but you can find it
out if you read them) This method is also useful in other cases. For
example, i had to mute front in alsamixer to hear sound only from my
headphone, and i could forbid unmuting when changing volume.

[Bug 512192] Re: Can't configure Elan tech touchpad on Dell Inspiron 11z, Asus K7I0C and maybe also Dell Mini 10 (not V), ASUS k40in, Asus U81A and ASUS UL80-VT.

2010-04-28 Thread Szunti
Thanks for solving one of my biggest problem. Patches also works on my Asus
K50IJ. Two minor problems:
a) I have to set two-finger scrolling, as in other modes when i touch the
touchpad with my second finger, the cursor make a big leap. I want to use
two-finger scrolling so it's not an issue for me.
b) Scrolling on edges is not working.
