[Bug 1947641] [NEW] warning missing firmware /lib/firmware/i915/ in 5.11 kernel
Public bug reported: I get a bunch of warning when install live-boot. looks like the linux- firmware missing some of the intel video card driver. I see it happens many times in different versions. A lot of people meet this issue. And some people hack it by download it manually from some website. But I don't like the way. I hope I can get some official solution because this bug is not new. And I am working on a project to make a customized file system. So I need it support AS More Firmware AS Possible and should stable and security. So I need make sure there have an official solution for this. the following is the missing file and the kernel I am using. [Bug 480605] Re: Repeated subscription request from same user
This happens to me on 12.10, Empathy version 3.6.0.3. In my case it's not a Yahoo account, but a Windows Live one. Subscription requests seem to always come from different addresses, but it's difficult to be sure since they are cryptic. I'm getting a few requests per hour on average. There should be a way to block this, because it completely defeats the purpose of the messaging menu. I keep opening it when it flashes blue, because I'm never sure if it's something important, or just another annoying contact request. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480605 Title: Repeated subscription request from same user To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/empathy/+bug/480605/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 441941] Re: grub fails after running Windows
I have a HP xw6200 and also cannot find a service in windows called hpqwmiex.exe I agree with John L In MY OPINION, this is so critical that 9.10 should be withdrawn immediately and released as 9.11, 9.12 or whatever once the bug is fixed.
