[Bug 1152477] Re: [UIFe] Window list in right click context menu should indicate the focused window
** Description changed: Ubuntu 13.04 When we right click on a launcher's icon which has 2 or more windows open, we now have a list of open windows we may switch focus to. If the current focused window is in this list, it should be highlighted already. Some apps have the same name in the title bar and it is sometimes hard to tell which item in the list is the other window you are trying to give focus to. Example: 2 Chrome windows open, call it Window A and Window B. Window B has focus. Right click on chrome's launcher. Current behavior: Window A Window B What it should be: Window A * Window B - * = this one should have the white background already (like when you - hover over it) showing it's active or have the | icon like the launcher - do showing its the active one. + * = radio state checked -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1152477 Title: [UIFe] Window list in right click context menu should indicate the focused window To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/1152477/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 733349] Re: Minimize Application's Windows upon clicking its Launcher Icon
+1 Say I'm writing a paper in LibreOffice Writer, and I click on firefox icon to focus the window so I can quickly read some content off a webpage. Now I want to minimize Firefox to give focus back to Writer. What do I have to do now? Move my mouse back to Writer icon or Minimize window icon. Or, if this ever gets implemented, simply click again without even moving the mouse. This behavior is what is expected by most people. [Bug 1107866] Re: Show window list when right clicking an icon in launcher - enables quick window switching
Regarding Nekhelesh Ramananthan (nik90)'s comment: The list does grow large, and extends vertically off the screen, which is an issue. Here are two possible fixes: Option 1: Figure out the maximum number of entries the quicklist can support for the given resolution, and if we have more windows open than we can fit, put the remaining windows into a menu item called # more windows (replace # with the actual number of remaining windows) as the last entry. When we click on the last entry, we get Spread of *only* those remaining windows. Option 2: Scroll only the window list, if possible. - | Favorite Location 1 | | Favorite Location 2 | | --| | ^ | Active/Inactive up arrow to scroll window list up | Window 1 | | Window 2 | | | | Window N - 1 | | v | Active/Inactive up arrow to scroll window list down | --| | remaining items | - -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1107866 Title: Show window list when right clicking an icon in launcher - enables quick window switching To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/1107866/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1113274] [NEW] Dock disappears after disabling Animations plugin from CCSM
Public bug reported: I'm not sure if this is completely compiz related or unity, so apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place. I'm on ubuntu 12.10 and when I uncheck Animations from CCSM the dock disappears and does not come back until I do unity --replace and I get the following error. Alt+tab works, applications, and top panel still work. Dock is set to autohide.
