[Bug 499178] Re: Error adding contact Other error when trying to copy a contact from local address book to Ubuntu One

This affects me too. Attaching Desktop Couch Replication output. This
might be a Ubuntu One issue because nothing my phone does will show up
there either.

[Bug 493387] [NEW] Wine: radeon_dma.c:210: radeonRefillCurrentDmaRegion: Assertion `dma_bo-bo-cref == 1' failed.

2009-12-06 Thread Vistro.net
Public bug reported:

In a few specific places in Girzzly Hills (While playing WoW in WINE),
WINE (not WoW) crashes, I get a window's style error. When I ran it in a
terminal, it appeared as though it was a assertion error with my
graphics card. Thought this machine was bad enough without a GPU with a
self esteem problem. Damn thing can't even assert itself.

I was told to copy and paste the terminal output to a file. I will
attach the file.

Please help.

[Bug 486697] Re: Selection of download folder in Transmission doesn't work as supposed

2009-11-22 Thread Vistro.net
Thanks for reporting a bug. I was able to reproduce it with the info you
gave (thanks for giving the reproduce information beforehand), and yeah,
it is a tad confusing. However, this does not really represent a coding
error in the program, but a missing feature.

I'll contact someone higher up on the experience chain than me, but this
might be a wishlist item.

I never noticed that before, and yeah, it is a tad annoying.

Again, thanks for reporting that!

[Bug 486720] Re: having problems with adobe flash wont install help!!!

2009-11-22 Thread Vistro.net
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description
didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read How
to report bugs effectively
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful
if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the
problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!

[Bug 486540] Re: avatar will not move in farmville

2009-11-21 Thread Vistro.net
Thanks for reporting a bug. In order for us to fix it, we must be able

bug to show itself. Can you give us some more detail, like your Ubuntu

toon able to move before? If so, what may have changed between then and
now?

[Bug 452208] Re: devkit-disks-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in dbus_g_method_return_error()

2009-10-29 Thread Vistro.net
Error occurred when installing Karmic from install CD on Dell Latitude
D610, Samsung Spinmaster 160GB HDD, Dell factory DVD+/- R/RW MediaBay
drive.

I'm a tad worried to see how much my install just got fudged...
hopefully nothing.

[Bug 454368] [NEW] No text in the security summary (Clicking on favicon in address bar)

2009-10-17 Thread Vistro.net
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

(firefox 3.5, shiretoko) (There was no 3.5 in the pacage search, so I
let it default to firefox-3.0)

1) 9.04
2) Huh?
3) When clicking in the Favicon (In this case, the site was Secure), a box
appears, and there should be text.
4) All that was there was a little clipart in the top left corner, a padlock
icon just sitting randomly in the box, and a button that says More
Information... There was text, but you REALLY have to look for it.

AFTERNOTE: This was because of my theme. It was set to Dust, so
everything was black, including the background of the popup, and the
text didn't become white to compensate. Changing it back to Human make
the background of the popup white again, making the text visible.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
