[Bug 152599] rtl8180 wireless freezes live cd nm applet
Public bug reported: Wireless card: realtek rtl8180l card When I try to connect to a WEP and MAC protected accespoint using the nm-applet during the live cd session of the 7.10 RC the whole system freezes. The networks were finded properly, but when I try to connect the whole system hangs and all I can do is a hard reboot. Same problem here: I have got a RTL8180 card with Edgy. With the included driver it freezes if I try to download a torrent + use other Internet activity. Only downloading a torrent works just fine. Hello I can also confirm this one. I have got the same chipset: it is automatically detected by Ubuntu Edgy. I didn't need to do set it up using ndiswrapper.
