Same problem, but Windows is Vista. I tried both text and graphical installers from Gutsy DVD (2007.10.06). After installation GRUB menu contains only Ubuntu, Ubuntu recovery and memtest items. I'm very sorry for my previous message. This is caused by my poor English and that I entangled in files, which I printed into the PDF. Printing i, ii, ... pages works fine with page range 1-...
