[Bug 1215477] Re: no rdp sound redirection possible
I am having trouble using my local mic in apps on the remotely connected host. A quick web search pointed me here, which seems relevant to my problems. [Bug 816580] Re: Mouse freezes after screensaver lock
This is a persistent problem for me. Brand new box (but existing peripherals), clean install of Oneiric (updated regularly). I have a keyboard on the PS/2 socket, mouse and Wacom tablet on USB sockets at the rear of the case. On startup, if I let the screen saver kick in before I interact with the computer, the mouse is frozen, whilst all else is normal (so I use the Wacom tablet in place of mouse or, more often, reboot). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/816580 Title: Mouse freezes after screensaver lock To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/816580/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 501514] [NEW] update-manager-core 1:0.126.9 package installation fails with Python
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager-core Update Manager reported problems updating a couple of packages: update manager and nvidia (this latter reported separately). Did not take notes to start with so tried to re-install through Synaptic the two packages for update manager already installed and got the error quoted below (presumed the same errors as in the first occurrence). Details: The first occurrence of the error with the update manage package was during the very first session of Update Manager in a fresh installation of Ubuntu 9.10 for a desktop CD (downloaded a week after release but re-installed today), thus hopefully reproducible. [Bug 501514] Re: update-manager-core 1:0.126.9 package installation fails with Python
The problem appears to be in /usr/share/pyshared/UpdateManager/UpdateManager.py: There are four occurrences of an odd 'upd!te'. I replaced them with the more natural 'update' and the installation error is no longer reproducible. The following comment appears towards the top of UpdateManager.py: # FIXME: # - kill all_changes and move the changes into the Update class Was the odd 'upd!te' deliberately introduced? ** Attachment added: Python file with dubious syntax http://launchpadlibrarian.net/37281307/UpdateManager.py.original -- update-manager-core 1:0.126.9 package installation fails with Python https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/501514 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
