Public bug reported: Binary package hint: acpid When the power button on the laptop is pressed, the notebook running Kubuntu Jaunty (alpha 3) shuts down immediately. I think that pressing that button, a logout/reboot/shutdown dialog should appear. Or at least It shold be configurable. Sorry, I am such a lama .. :) It looks like the button that I am talking about is not a add recursively button.. I would swear that it had this function before ... now there is a ctrl +insert (or menu) shortcut to add recursively. So the bug does not exists. ** Changed in: kdesvn (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- In RC 8.04 the add recursively does function properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220431 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 121053] Re: Timestamps no longer appear
Hi, I observe the same bug. It is a bug, since, when I use the timestamp plugin, I want to see timestamps not only in the log messages, but also in present conversations ... example situation : i go to lunch, i get back after an hour, in the messge window i see Hello, I need your help with PC ... but I am unable to say if it is a very recent message , that user posted 2 mins ago, or it is sitting there for an half an hour. Of course my response will differ. [Bug 185311] Re: hardy, locking assertion failure, xorg/libsdl
The problem occurs also on Sun jdk j2sdk1.4.2_17 (not installed from .deb but from Sun installer, but info is important anyway). The workaround seems to be very similar to other java versions. I tried only with simple gui program, so I cannot say if ti has any side effects. sudo sed -i 's/XINERAMA/FAKEEXTN/g' /usr/lib/jvm/j2sdk1.4.2_17/jre/lib/i386/libawt.so -- hardy, locking assertion failure, xorg/libsdl https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185311 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 200064] Re: the iwl3945 driver will not connect to my open, 802.11 b, linksys AP
Upgraded Kubuntu 7.10 to 8.04 RC, the wifi on FS Amilo pro v3405 (module ipw3945) stops working, the knetworkmanager does not show any network. It is related to the kernel , the Hardy installs and uses by default kernel 2.6.24-16-generic. [Bug 220431] [NEW] In RC 8.04 the add recursively does function properly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdesvn The toolbar icon used to add directory recursively to version control does not recurse anymore, this means, that user has to click many times on this button when versionning some deeper directory structure. [Bug 220432] [NEW] kdesvn wc view is inconsistent
Public bug reported: After adding file in kdesvn... it is still marked as not versioned. Thes stays even after refresh. Also other inconsistencies in view at the local wc are introduced , for example after commit sometimes ... and refresh does not help... :( Side note: I have to say, that the kdesvn shipped (installed, or affected by some installation) with Kubuntu RC 8.04 is not usable anymore, looks like going back to alfa stage.. [Bug 82870] Re: Kubuntu/Crystal: minimised windows do not resize correctly
I found that this problem occurs also when launching a window on a different desktop. Example : * I have set in KDE preferences that window OBJECT NAVIGATOR should open on a desktop 2 * I launch this program/window from desktop 5 * Window gets incorrectly clipped - this can be seen on the snapshot attached - note : with plastik theme (or others) this does not occur. - note : I am able to reproduce this as needed - note : For me it happens also when a java applet from firefox opens a separate window and I am at that time at a different desktop. If possible I think that this bug should be renamed to something like Kubuntu - Crystal theme clipping problem, because it looks to be more general than minimizing related. ** Attachment added: snapshot showing clipping problem http://librarian.launchpad.net/7145189/crystal.png -- Kubuntu/Crystal: minimised windows do not resize correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/82870 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
