[Bug 380672] Re: Seg fault when pasting text into a new message

2009-08-11 Thread dieguito
I have the same problem and I found out that disabling the lightning
extension solves the problem so I think its related to that. Any one has
found a solution for this?

[Bug 186490] [NEW] Wrong capitalisation in packaging (debian/)

2008-01-27 Thread dieguito
Public bug reported:

Hey!

while trying to merge ubuntu package to debian, I noted that you have
modified the capitalisation in control{,.in} replacing GNOME Panel for
GNOME panel. The correct name should be Panel, since this is a silly
thing increasing the diff generated between debian and ubuntu debian/
dir, I though you would like to know.

Just do a s/GNOME panel/GNOME Panel/ in your package ;).

[Bug 133106] Re: Swedish characters displays as %o

2007-11-20 Thread dieguito
I can confirm this. Using ooimpress when I open a document that has an ñ or ú,
they are replaced for Òs and ˙s
This happens as long as I keep those chars in Bitstream Vera Sans.
The bug seems to be there only when the non-ascii doc is the first one you
open, if you first open an empty doc and then the offending doc, you won't have
the issue.

Serious problem in my opinion, the workaround is not obvious and it can
happen to anyone anytime.

[Bug 31857] Re: r818x driver freezes randomly

2007-10-27 Thread dieguito
To summarise:

Using r818x driver:
- Getting data works as long as the load is low, high network load produces a
system freeze.
- Sending data (uploading) freezes the system
- WEP key is useless, setting it freezes the system (this worked fine before)
- -386 variant kernels allow safe uploading and downloading of data, however
WEP still freezes the system and a kernel without NO_HZ is pretty useless on a
laptop.

Using ndiswrapper net8180:
- Getting data works fine, no matter the load.
- Sending data doesn't work, transfers above some few Kbs get stalled forever.
- WEP key is useless, it causes a partial freeze on the system that becomes a
full freeze after some seconds
- WPA state is unknown, but probably the same as WEP

Doing a summary of both lists:
- Getting data always work (ndis, r8180-386) as long as you don't put the card
to high load (like torrents), a high load can take you to a freeze (r8180).
- Sending data either freezes (r8180) the system or doesn't work (ndis).
- WEP is always useless.
- Using a -386 kernel allows you to safely send and receive data (r8180),
without freezes. However you are not able to use WEP anyway. ndiswrapper always
stalles.

I add myself to the begging to get this fixed somehow.

Still happens. I used linux-image-2.6.20-5-generic and got the same
result when plugging my card.

[Bug 56610] Re: Automatic search from address entry doesn't work anymore

2007-01-20 Thread dieguito
Omg I'm being followed!

Yes, those are debs with some patches from the current 2.17 version. I
built it not so long ago.

The most noticeable changes are there, so if you use it you will be very
close to the actual 2.17.

Some other great changes are available in 2.17 so if you can or want,
you are welcome to try it :).

My report is here with the corresponding syslog of the freezes (with the trace

[Bug 77152] Can't upload files

2006-12-25 Thread dieguito
Public bug reported:

I'm using ndiswrapper for my realtek 818x card, the native linux module is
r818x and works fine (except for some quirks with wifi security).
Since I'm using ndiswrapper I can't upload files (I can send any kind of info
however) to any site (bugzilla, malone, flickr, etc).
I can send files via gaim file transfer however.

Don't know if the bug is in ndiswrapper but is my closest responsable for the
problem.
