Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read How to report bugs effectively http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem, 2. the behavior you expected, and 3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Thank you for submitting this bug and helping to improve Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If a new profile helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one. [Bug 619151] Re: BBC IPlayer no longer works after Firefox update to 3.6.8.
You can test a new profile by starting profile manager with the following command, but make sure all Firefox windows are closed first: firefox -ProfileManager To disable extensions, Tools Add-ons Find the extension Highlight and click 'Disable' Restart Firefox ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Incomplete -- BBC IPlayer no longer works after Firefox update to 3.6.8. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/619151 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
