[Bug 1675366] [NEW] h5pcc command is missing in libhdf5-openmpi-dev under trusty
Public bug reported: I installed the parallel version of hdf5 (libhdf5-openmpi-dev) under trusty. I cannot find the wrapper command h5pcc for compiling hdf5 c files. No such file seems to exist in trusty, but it exists in newer Ubuntu releases: http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=trusty&arch=any&mode=filename&searchon=contents&keywords=h5pcc A similar bug report was filed for Debian, and eventually solved: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=648537 It would be nice to have the h5pcc file under trusty. ** Affects: hdf5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: openmpi trusty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1675366 Title: h5pcc command is missing in libhdf5-openmpi-dev under trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hdf5/+bug/1675366/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1290193] [NEW] Turkish DST change requires update to 2014a
Public bug reported: Version 2014a of Iana Tz data contains an important fix for the upcoming DST date change for Turkey. [Bug 1199059] Re: A2DP audio sink devices failed to work with "bluetoothd : Unable to select SEP" in system log.
After removing and installing various versions of pulseaudio and bluez, finally keeping the latest version of bluez [bluez (4.101-0ubuntu8b1) raring] and updating pulseaudio from the saucy ppa to version 4.0 solved my problems. [Bug 1189998] Re: bluetooth disconnection corrupts memory and causes kernel panic
This bug seems similar to bug 1165433. By the way, the patch referred to in comment #4 is still being reviewed and revised it seems. [Bug 1165433] Re: Kernel 3.8.x panics on bluetooth DUN disconnect
I am having similar kernel panics while using a USB bluetooth dongle to connect my new desktop (Ubuntu 13.04, kernel 3.8.0-27-generic) to a bluetooth external speaker via A2DP. I went through the correspondence between Gianluca Anzolin et. al. in linux-bluetooth email list, and it seems like the patch review is still a work in progress. Meanwhile a similar problem was reported in bug 1189998 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1189998). When I searched the phrase "bluetooth kernel panic" in launchpad, I saw many other bug reports on kernel panics related to bluetooth. Should I be looking into different bug reports for issues specifically related to A2DP, or is very likely that this bug, when patched, will solve A2DP related issues as well? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1165433 Title: Kernel 3.8.x panics on bluetooth DUN disconnect To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1165433/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 340862] Re: "save anyway" dialog shows up when backup turn off
@Oliver: I applied your suggestions. I made a rm -rf $(find ~/ -name "*~") and then changed GID with chgrp -R ekin ~/ Before those commands the UID was 1000 and GID was 100. Now they are all 1000. [Bug 340862] Re: "save anyway" dialog shows up when backup turn off
Let me make it more clear: I had a long-standing home partition which I transfer without a touch when I install a new system. Yesterday, I removed Fedora from my system and installed Ubuntu 9.10. Then, Gedit gave this error when I open an old file from my aging home directory and try to save it. However, I create a new text file and save and close it, then reopen the file and try to save it again, and surprisingly, it does not give the error. I checked file permissons but they are the same. You cannot close a bug due to Ubuntu 10.04's shipping with Gedit 2.30, because: 1. Ubuntu 9.10 still has at least 1 year of support before EOL and people are still using it as a production system, 2.
