[Bug 345771] Re: liferea seems to show new unread news, after update all, even if all news are already read

2009-04-20 Thread fluo
Well It happends here on a fresh and up-to-date Ubuntu (gnome) JJaunty
64bits edition, on a Zepto 3215W (Intel GM965, core2...@1.66mhz) and
Liferea 1.4.26 . I haven't imported the database and the feedlist, I
added the feeds from scratch (see the attached feedlist)

The behaviour is quiet random, but I noticed it happens often when a new
item appears in a feed, yet not always. Really I don't see any logical
behaviour in it.

I've used liferea with different distro and I've had the same bug with
ubuntu (and debian but that's to be confirmed by someone else) yet not
with archlinux.

I don't know what more I can tell.

[Bug 345771] Re: liferea seems to show new unread news, after update all, even if all news are already read

2009-04-15 Thread fluo
I also have this problem, among others, on a fresh install (Jaunty), fresh home
and fresh feeds.
 - some news are re-marked as unread after an update.
 - some feeds/news demand a lot of ressources to be shown. This doesn't
seem to be related to flash or java, since they are not activated here.
 - the unread folder (at the bottom) wrongly states that there are some
news left to read while they are all marked as read.

A feed that keep switching the read/unread thingy:
http://feeds2.feedburner.com/ound/everyone

Emilio:
I see your point but the news I'm talking about keep coming back bold and with
an icon (a little newspaper), and can be seen in the unread folder. I created
an updated search folder just to be sure, and this one is always empty.

[Bug 175454] Re: Icons overlay each other

I have the same problem on Ibex, freshly installed (I only kept my /home
from Hardy).

Once an application closes, the to last icons on the left side overlay
each other.

Here is a screenshot with vlc, gajim and padevchooser overlaying each
other (there is only one gajim running).

didn't resolve the problem.

[Bug 216799] [NEW] [hardy, server] boot impossible and /home/* disappeared

2008-04-13 Thread fluo
Public bug reported:

I use Ubuntu Hardy Beta i386 server edition as a file/printing/PulseAudio/MPD
server
I updated my server this morning and rebooted on the new kernel (2.6.24-16), in
vain.
GRUB loads correctly but then it just says loading, please wait

I tried the same kernel with recovery and it stops at Begin: Waiting

I rebooted with the previous kernel (2.6.24-15), it worked, all the
services loaded correctly but when I logged with ssh it said:

See man sudo_root for details.

ls /home shows nothing

[Bug 216799] Re: [hardy, server] boot impossible and /home/* disappeared

2008-04-13 Thread fluo
atually the recovery mode goes a bit further and says:

Check root = bootarg cat /proc/cmdline or missing modules, devices: cat

just shows a black screen and tty's are unreachable.

[Bug 208462] [NEW] Increasing sound lags on vlc

2008-03-28 Thread fluo
Public bug reported:

The sound lags more and more when watching a movie (.avi file) with vlc.

It gets a bit better if I pause and play the movie again, but the lag comes
back pretty fast (about 10 min).
The lag appears with alsa and pulseaudio (and maybe others)

I tried to set an audio delay in vlc settings but in vain since the lag
is constantly increasing

I use ubuntu hardy beta 64bits,
vlc 0.8.6.release.e+x264svn20071224+faad2.5.1-0ubuntu2 (I had the same problem
with the ubuntu1 version)
The sound card is an Intel HDA (ALC268)

[Bug 205736] [NEW] Sound disappears

2008-03-23 Thread fluo
Public bug reported:

Sound turns off strangely with vlc, amarok and/or any other audio programs
without any reasons.
I can watch a movie without problem but after few minutes of inactivity, the
sound just vanishes.
The only way to get the sound back is to reboot the computer: restarting alsa
doesn't solve the problem, alsamixer is ok.

sound card: HDA-Intel (ALC268)
Ubuntu hardy beta 64 bits

** Affects: ubuntu
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
