[Bug 1432386] Re: Some Gramps Windows show no place for lists

2015-04-08 Thread francoisb
I've solved the problem in sound-juicer by editing :
/usr/share/sound-juicer/sound-juicer.ui

and adding property name=expandTrue/property there :

 object class=GtkTreeView id=albums_listview
property name=visibleTrue/property
property name=can_focusTrue/property
property name=expandTrue/property
/object

Could the same thing be done with Gramps?

I twice tried to provoque the bug again but it did'nt repeat.

2008-04-16 Thread francoisb
Public bug reported:

I'm using fglrx driver on a hardy beta with an ati X1200 card.

When I boot on kernel 2.6.24.15 and trying to enable desktop effects, I
get a blanck screen.

No problem with kernel 2.6.24.14 and older 13, 12.

Here's an extract of Xorg.0.log (not sure it's the good error.

[Bug 149006] Re: ltsp does not configure xorg.conf correctly

2007-10-08 Thread francoisb
Setting
   X_COLOR_DEPTH=16
in the lts.conf is sufficient to get X to start (little longer than) fixing an
entire xorg.conf).

[Bug 149006] Re: ltsp does not configure xorg.conf correctly

2007-10-08 Thread francoisb
I've made a simplest to get the thin client X work :

X_MODE_0=1024x768
X_COLOR_DEPTH=24

The only problem with the i810 driver is that it is trying to use 32 bpp
color depth.

[Bug 149006] Re: ltsp does not configure xorg.conf correctly

2007-10-06 Thread francoisb
I've got the same problem as Hasan with an Intel 82815 video card.

the ltsp finds the i810 driver and a worksation install finds intel.

I made two custom xorg.conf called in lts.conf (XF86CONFIG_FILE =
/etc/X11/xorg-i810.conf or XF86CONFIG_FILE = /etc/X11/xorg-intel.conf).

But both are working well.

Then I noticed another difference :

- in the ltsp-calculated xorg.conf, HorizSync and vertRefresh are
defined in the monitor section.

- but in the workstation xorg.conf, there is a Display subsection in the
Screen section
SubSection Display
Modes 1024x768 800x600 640x480
EndSubSection

It seems that this add make my Xserver work.

Could it possible to fix prefered modes in the lts.conf ?

[Bug 149006] Re: ltsp does not configure xorg.conf correctly

2007-10-06 Thread francoisb
Sorry, I don't think the problem has something with Display modes.

I've got that, following the thin client /var/log/Xorg.1*

(EE) I810(0): Given bpp (32) is not supported by i810 driver
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none has a usable configuration

Is that make us go further ?

[Bug 122285] thin-client-manager share screen error

2007-06-26 Thread francoisb
Public bug reported:

I ran an Edubuntu server with x11vnc installed in the /opt/ltsp/i386.

- Booted up two thin clients.

- On the server, I ran thin-client-manager. Works ok. Shows the two
clients Desktop in the screen viewer.

- I select the second client and click Share screen : the client's 1
desktop is sent to the client 2 (it ought to be the server's desktop).

I select the client 1 and click Share screen : the client 1 desktop is
sent to himself in an iterative way and fill the entire screen with
incrustated title bars

2007-06-26 Thread francoisb
I tried the same operation with an ubuntu laptop with ltsp x11vnc with
one client.

There, the share screen option send effectively the server Desktop to
the client's screen. Works well in this case.

[Bug 92623] gthumb cups printing transparency

2007-03-15 Thread francoisb
Public bug reported:

Printing images with transparency information (png, gif) causes problems
:

- in gThumb, Gnome image viewer, the image is a black surface, the
transparent zone gets white;

- in Inkscape, Firefox the image is ok but the transparent zone gets
black

- Openoffice is able to ignore transparency information : printing is
ok.

In case of pdf containing transparent image, evince is printing a black
rectangle but Adobe reader gets ok.

My printer : HP Deskjet 3820 with hpijs pilot.
